Episode 19 really is something. The animators were on one for that one and its even more crazy to think that this was released in 2009. Also, I could be mistaken but I'm fairly certain that the VA's for Mustang and Lust are married in real life. Then during the recording for this episode Mustangs VA couldn't be in the studio when they were recording it because he couldn't handle listening to her scream. I can't even blame him though tbh, because she really did kill that whole scene.

Glad you get to enjoy some Roy, haha I'm not quite sure about the time difference, so I may be late, but happy birthday! 🥳 May your life be filled with laughter, love, and the best vibes!

RAHHHHHHHHHHH EP 19 AKDKDKSKKSK CRAZY shit bruh, the Roy/Lust scene is FANTASTIC, Hawkeye’s breakdown is so gut wrenching and such a difference from how we’ve seen her so far and really gives a different aspect of her character yknow I love how the show makes you feel for even a convicted serial killer, emotions go crazyyy Also I really love seeing the different aspects of stuff like Mustang’s team’s methods of secret code/communication, it’s super cool to see play out! Makes me a little bit feral fr fr

Also random tidbit, but the creator of the FMA manga, Hiromu Arakawa, drew little gag comics in the volumes that are little peeks into the creative process/conversations with her editors/etc etc There’s this one quote where in response to being asked why all her characters are so muscular, she says “If they’re too skinny my poor characters will look like they’re not being fed! Men should be buffed and women should be vavoom!” and I just think about that everytime I see that one Lust moment 😂😂

Just wanted to add, you don't really have to skip first minutes of the episode before the intro song :) they don't repeat the last episode ending scene and those scenes are always part of the plot ~ Same here with the ep 19, I kind of like that first minute - it actually shows that Mustang was having some kind of ptsd from Hughes's death and was worried the same thing would happen to Riza same goes to post credit scenes ~ anyway, I just finished watching, thanks for the vibes as always! it made my evening so much better :)

English VAs for Mustang and Lust are Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey, who are married and have anime and video game VA credits a mile long (especially Laura), but are also of Critical Role / Legend of Vox Machina fame lmao
