This is my like 6th time watching it. When I first watched this movie my expectations were below zero. I was expecting a train wreck. Full honesty, I watched this solely cause it involved K-pop, a genre that I have dedicated more than a decade of my life loving. So I had to check it out. My feelings now? I need back story movies on every character in this movie. I need the Sunshine Girls prequel, cause I need to know how Rumi's mother hooked up with a demon. But most importantly, I need a movie on the three emo Huntrix fans. I want that back story.

I’m definitely a hardcore Mira bias she’s just too badass! Small thing I noticed on this watch through (like my 15th time watching this tbh) you get a small foreshadowing that the plan isn’t going to work at the idol awards when they all sit together and share their insecurities and how the group helped them feel accepted and Rumi still hides her patterns from them. The only time they are able to win is once they’ve ALL accepted their insecurities. My tinfoil hat theory is that they were always just hovering on gold because she was still hiding things.

It's funny, I've been sitting on this for weeks, and then a friend asked me if I'd seen it yet. Then she got mad cause I haven't lmao. So I saw it the other day and MANNN… I loved it! I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is, even from an animation point of view: good heartfelt story, fun characters. GREAT ACTION! And banger songs. The last song got me choked up 🥲. Why wasn't this released in theaters! It's Prey all over again. The Twice BTS peak. I'm about to watch your reaction. Over two hours, lmao. Yeah, let the yapping begin. Soomin who?

It could have been just a "surf on the kpop hype" movie with no spine just for the money but they actually made one of the best animated movie i've seen from a long time. Embracing the "stan kpop culture" parody with tact, Insane animation and fantastic Soundtrack, and very well written characters. It have everything. Make perfectly sense why huntrix and saja boys are just everywhere on charts and challenges...

Honestly didn't expect much when I heard about this movie (was excited for Adren Cho and Ahn Hyoseop doing the voice acting tho) but i was so blown away by this movie!! still gives me goose bumps(multiple times) and I tear up every time T_T love it to bits and the soundtrack is a banger!!

Third time watching this and I loved your reaction. I liked this from so many viewpoints musically, visually, and psychologically. I'm trying to figure out how I can use it for my clients that have self image issues even. Great post show talk as well you may want to do a video on this one I'd watch ☺️. I saw this post and had no idea what this was, but I'm so happy I decided to watch because DAMN what a great movie, and so many banger songs in the show! Really enjoyed the Korean culture explanations too, added so much to the whole experience. Loved the messages in the movie too, added real depth amongst the fun and silliness and locked me in for the whole thing. Thanks for watching/posting this, I don't think I'd have watched otherwise, and I'm so glad I did.
