Ayeee all the love back to you! Man these episodes definitely are wild. I don't know what Kishimoto was cooking there but that Sexy Reverse Harem Jutsu completely took me out. I could NOT believe what I had seen back then. My jaw was on the floor .... It didn't surprise me one bit that you felt the same hahaha.

Sexy harem jutsu saves the world Lok!

imo. the problem isnt that Madara just got offed out of nowhere. Like you said he was build up as the big bad villian of the show, I mean over time we learned a bit more about him and that he also just seeks peace in his own way but he was still the end boss. The actual problem is that there was no real build up to kaguya, up until recently there was no mention, no hinting, nothing. Sure they can tell us she is the god mother of everything and is all powerfull but its just not as believeable as the constant mentioning of Madara. The Kaguya to Madara dynamic is basically the same as Madara to Obito or Obito to Nagato but it worked alot better with Obito and Nagato.

I do want to say that the flashbacks for her do make up a little for the lack of build up. Its still a bit weird how she shows up and is gone in a handfull of eps.

The sexy Jutsu making one last return, Kishimoto cooked with this one.
