I remember I was so pissed when I was first watching and they introduced the ninja tools. The fact that they can just imitate jutsu never sat right with me, so I 100% resonate with how you feel about it.

Dude, right?! Like the process for everyone else has been so difficult and has taken years, decades even for them to achieve mastery, all for some piece of tech to spew out jutsus like that. I totally get it as well - we're technologically further along and we need to get with the times, of course, but science can improve SO many other things, and of course shinobi can adapt with it, but MUST IT BE jutsus?! I don't know, call me old-fashioned, but narratively I'm just expecting that now we're going to come up against "technologically advanced" enemies in future, which will just complicate it further haha. To top it all off, Boruto is a prodigy just because, and we have ninja tools now, which can make the hardest shit easy as pie. I can't wait to watch a battle where 20 Konoha shinobi are all spamming the Rasengan and win, haha. A bit dramatic, but now that's off my chest, I can move on haha
