I've just only recently dived back into naruto and boruto itself. I mean to me naruto was always a show that I kept getting back to (that and maybe fairy tale), I've seen it when I was a kid, I've rewatched it as a teen, I've seen it again as an adult and its something that always has been part of my life all throughout and something I always felt so strongly about. Even tho I've seen some bits and pieces, only recently I watched boruto as a whole and no matter who says what I feel like the plot is strong and its good and ofc its different and I do enjoy even some of the fillers and ofc fillers might not be canon and all but i feel like they essentially always have the canon at its base like relationship dynamics, characters personalities, maybe even some easter eggs and hints to the future canon stuff. Regardless of anything, being able to see all the good and perhaps silly stuff before the whole time skip we gonna have I feel like many gonna miss theae silly moments so bad. And times are just different and again I just feel so grateful for us to be able to even still have this universe and be in it through the next generation. Currently rewatching all of this with u just reminds me of how i myself started boruto and how i feel about it now after seeing all the first arc of it. I love how its different and yet how it has similarities, the fact that the previous generations actions nurtured and nurtures the new one and how it affects them and their own chosen paths. Thats why perhaps we see even the kids of new generation while also ofv having more modern world and all we see them perhaps more communcative more mature in some ways more open about their emotions too idk how to explain it but its just so rewarding to watch.
