I thought there wouldn’t be any new episode of Pursuit of Jade today. What a nice surprise!

Sinha

Woah I was just thinking if you had any new uploads and right on time

Lori

The "ah this b*tch is still alive" at the end took me out 🤣🤣🤣

Syn Tri

I just saw that Pursuit of Jade (逐玉) has been nominated for Best Asian Project at the prestigious 2026 Global OTT Awards/ Asia Contents Awards. The only Chinese drama nominated. The drama also earned nominations for Best Actress (Tian Xiwei), the only Chinese actress nominated, and Best Supporting Actor (Deng Kai). Also, the soul-stirring soundtrack and overall production excellence received nods. Thanks so much for another episode reaction.

Choi

Yummy yummy! good night 🫡

Seelia

The intimacy this couple have with each other is what most of us want in our own relationships. I'm in love with their love. ❤

Just saw this too. I’m sad our Marquis didn’t get nominated too. ZLH’s popularity exploded after this role and he has enjoyed a lot of success since then but in a way, he is reduced to just his looks. I thought he did an excellent job in here playing the different identities of his character in PoJ. He certainly deserves a nomination too. I think a lot of his best scenes are subtle but incredibly touching and done well.

Lani S

Yes! That's why I haven't been able to move on from this drama. It just ruined other dramas for me.

Seelia

It really does, especially if this is their first Cdrama. The other romances are not going to live up to this.

Syn Tri

Agree. Viewers tuned in because of his publicity stills, slowly released months in advance. But they wouldn't have stayed just for looks. Practically every time Zhang Linghe opens his mouth (that voice) or appears in POJ, it's one of the most impactful scenes in Pursuit of Jade. lol We stayed on a rollercoaster of feels lol. Beginning with the 1st episode in the pig-sty scene, where a beam of sunlight exposed his broken soul shining through his eyes, the sensual tension build-up of his tangerine-peel tasting/kiss (his ad-lib of "Would you like a taste now?"). His loving care of Changyu to immediate deadly fury and consequent stabbing of the butcher, then his devastating tears at finding her fatally cold and unable to revive her/his loving coin treatment kept you breathless, his one-handed grab of Changyu at the Marquis reveal, etc., etc. He slayed as the formidable Marquis Wu'an, Xie Zheng. An even bigger sin was the lack of a director nomination.

I just watched ep 27 again, and my heart has melted into a puddle. That sparring scene and then the one after by the fire, OMG, I'm speechless. I can't think of anything else that tops this. No over the top declaration of love, no overacting. The simplicity of it all makes it so genuine. Sigh...

Thank you for watching, my friend!!
