I think people who spoil things do it because: 1. They’re impatient, 2. They’re used to reactors who don’t understand anything (yes, they do exist 😅), or 3. They’re used to dramas that hide a lot of details (in the scenery, etc.) that aren’t easy to understand if you’re not Chinese, because of the idioms and the culture in general. In fact this drama, if you don't read the Novel is really easy to understand, it was made with foreigners in mind I think, that's why it's also available on Netflix 😅 There are a lot of cdramas out there who are really tricky because the story say one thing but the decor, costumes, subtext tells a lot of hidden things (like the meaning of the names, the color used in the decor, the hairstyle etc...a lot of things to pay attention to... that's also why a lot of people rewatch some Cdramas because there are a lot of things we miss)

One of my favorite things about your reactions is always how you view characters. It’s easy to hate a character and by all means, hate certain characters, but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel sympathetic towards them. Would I personally want a Qi Min in my life? Absolutely not! But he is such an interesting character to watch that’s for sure. Great episode!

Crying over the fact that General He was the one who named her and she didn’t get to meet him until now. There was an entire village of people that loved her parents and her that she never knew. 😭
