I was just about to ask if you’ll continue watching TVD. 😅 It’s actually fun for me to rewatch it because I first watched it when I was a teenager 😅 It wasn’t really something guys watched back then, or at least they said they didn’t, but my homeboy got me into it, and I remember it being such a blast at the time 😂 About Stefan, that’s kind of the point. He’s miserable as a vampire. That’s just who he is. Otherwise, he goes on a rampage and kills everyone.. Sometimes Elena’s character can be a bit hard to handle too, that’s true 😂 Damon is the fun one, he just doesn’t give a fuck, no matter who you are. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’d treat the first season as more of an introduction to the show. There are some interesting storylines, but if I remember correctly, things really start to get crazy from Season 2. 😬 Hope to see more reactions, but of course only if you’re enjoying it. :)

My favourite characters at this point are probably Damon, Bonnie and Jenna. I think you'll have to wait at least until mid-season for the plot to kick in. At least it was that way for me, and I started to like this show way more when one particular story arc ended. But I really enjoy your commentary on this. Love to laugh along with you at all the cringiness and stupidity there is.

This is definitely a blast from the past! 🤭 It's been a long time, even though I sort of binged it after it finished, but I remember that it took a couple of episodes to get into the show and then it really picks up. Everyone has a role to play, things become increasingly more interesting and if you manage to ignore bunch of broody teenagers doing broody things, the plot's actually not bad. Regarding Stefan, unfortunately, I have to agree. He was and stayed someone I mostly tolerated. Not a ship thing, just never really cared much for him. Probably a weird thing to say, but I def enjoyed two main characters here the least. Good thing is that the show has crazy ensemble of secondary characters and truly most of them have a really solid storyline. Whenever you can, trying watching couple episodes in a row... could be just me, but I think it's one of those shows that are better when binged.

Truth! The show really doesn't hit it's stride until the second season. The entire first season is just character, plot, sub plot, sub sub plot introduction(LOL).... there's a lot of sub plots. I mean if you take into account The Vampire Diaries entire time line with The Originals and Legacies.(Yes, Vampire Diaries has two spin-offs.) It make One Tree Hill and Dawson's Creek, which were it's contemporaries. Feel like K-dramas. That's the thing most people don't take into account. Production companies don't make shows that don't make money. The Vampire Diaries story, in one shape or another. Was profitable for over a decade.

Yees, The Originals was fire too! I think I actually liked it even more than TVD 😅 Ahh, good memories 😂 I think even if Lok doesn’t continue watching TVD, I’ll probably rewatch it on my own. I’m feeling kind of nostalgic rn 😂
