I had forgotten this would follow the episode with Vicki's death. I loved Lexi the moment she appeared, but they took her away from us too soon. I hated Damon for this, but it still couldn't sway me towards Team Stefan.

I love how everyone is annoying me but at the same time no one annoys me quite enough to give up on them. And I really mean everyone... and as for Damon, he is doing some seriously messed up stuff this season 👀... still Team Damon. #shameshameshame

Hahaha... getting emotionally attached to new characters. Let me just say this... If you make it through the first season. It only gets worse. That's the thing I love about this show and it's spin offs. Very rarely are the character's motives black or white.

Damon always seems to be one step ahead of everyone. He has been trying to get info and get more access to the town's secret counsel to protect themselves..keep your enemies closer type of deal..And Lexi came along and Damon decided to use her to take the heat off of them..but I also think he did that because he was jealous of her and Steffon's releationship. She also was a threat to him and his plans so he literally killed two birds with one stone. We also get a hint of Steffon's past....he seemed to have some darkness. He hinted to Lexi that he can't control himself with human blood. So he probably did some things that haunts him..Damon seems to have some resentment and it is something to keep in mind...did Steffon do something that effected Damon in bad way in the past? Also...Lexi appeared to be afraid of Katherine (for a second). Was Katherine older than Lexi and more powerful? So many character plots up in the air now...
