Tyler is holding the show down for you ? I don't get that as I blacklisted him from when he tried to sexually assault vicki in the forest before all the supernatural shit started. Everyone in the show was carrying for me till this point, even katherine and Damon which is saying something because I don't like him as much, but you said one thing absolutely correct Caroline is a standout.

Stefan is not over estimating himself and he is not dumb in going against Elijah. He deduced that katerine was running from someone not Damon so knows how strong they are. It's as he said he doesn't care.

So Elena makes jeremy forget and that's seen as bad but Damon does the same thing and we see it as sacrifice and good thing. Elena does this to save Jeremy from emotional pain and damon does this to further sabotage his brother's relationship with her but you are taking Elena's choice away like she did to jeremy. First of all it was incrediblely selfish of damon to confess to his brother's girlfriend and put elena in this hard position ,damon himself admits to it. This show constantly tries to put Damon in the limelight when stefan is boring in the scene he is boring but Damon actions are always turned to show the parts of him in every decision.
