Love your content Lok and I'll continue to support you but I'm sad you're dropping Boruto right before the best manga canon episodes, especially since the rest is all manga so you're basically almost done. I get it though, the show is very childish (especially the filler/anime canon stuff). I think the manga canon is great but the series gets so much backlash for being majority filler/anime canon which I agree has really terrible pacing. I think you would have enjoyed it more if you just only watched manga canon stuff + TBV is so gooood. I also think you would enjoy the upcoming manga story and Sasuke light novel a lot despite the last 100 episodes of anime canon being really bad pacing and stuff. I understand your decision to move on though, I'm just sad personally because I love your reactions. Also to the people who are claiming that Boruto isn't canon it's not true and it's a misinterpretation of something Kishimoto said (basically that Ikemoto was in charge of the story/illustrations and that it was his manga). I don't think that makes Boruto not canon, especially since Kishimoto introduced Boruto/Sarada as characters in the Naruto manga in chapter 700. Also Kishimoto wrote the first Boruto movie as well. In general I don't think someone else writing the story should completely disregard it as canon regardless because Kishimoto trusted Ikemoto to continue his story, and Ikemoto also worked on Naruto with Kishimoto. Kishimoto has also been overseeing the Boruto series. He's always been the editorial supervisor for the series, and even though Initially he wasn't happy with the way the story was going and starting from Chapter 52 he was officially credited for the story drafts of Boruto. Not to mention people are claiming that Boruto is an alternate universe because Kishimoto is working on another sequel to Shippuden but that sequel is specifically supposed to be the events that occured between Shippuden and Boruto that we haven't seen yet when Kakashi was hokage, so I'm not sure why people are using that to claim that Boruto is an alternate universe either tbh. Either way, Boruto IS CANON to the universe and these twisted narratives were created by haters :/ ANYWAYS, I hope you come back to finish it some day, but I'm sure you have great things to come and I know whatever it is it will be great and I can't wait to see it! You're an amazing content creator so keep up the great content Lok <3

I wish I could say that the Boruto news was a surprise but I had a thought in the back of my mind that it would be dropped pretty soon... Nick went way more into depth than what I was going to say so ill skip that. I just wish that your enthusiasm was rewarded on the manga canon eps not the anime canon. That's enough of that though. I am excited to hear that anime is going to be coming back though! Bleach, Mob Psycho, FMAB!!!, and others. It makes me happy knowing that more content is coming our way! No way its already almost November, and I'm happy that you guys are enjoying your new place! The life updates are cool to hear as well!

I felt the same too about Boruto. I couldn’t get into as I’m almost 30 🙊 and it’s definitely for kids.
