The ladies discuss the Astroworld tragedy and the Austin University launch, and touch on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

Brittni

Packing hours before a 2 week trip tonight, really needed this 🙏🙏🙏 although I should save it for my 7 hour drive tomorrow idk if I can 💕

yas

Thank god, I’m staying in on a Friday in New York and this is what I needed to keep me sane

Leaving a bouncer shift with drunks in the bar so I can listen to this

A gift from the ladies as i embark on a night of BPD art hoeing around

I was at Astroworld lol, interested to see what the ladies say about it 💂🏾

Anna is carrying with the Rittenhouse defense.

Did you realize what was happening in real time or after the show?

Anonymous

Kyle demonstrated what other adults needed to do (not kill others, but protect themselves and their property). His age is secondary to that, and his competency is reinforced by his aim. He didn't have the gun to kill people, he had it because he legally could and in the event it was necessary to use. I would also question the parent's input, if they allowed it, but he is not the monster he's being painted to be. He also shouldn't be charged

Anonymous

Regarding Ritten House; 1. His mother should be on trial as well as him for dropping her son off in the middle of a heated protest. What fuckn kind of dumbass mom does that? Two, you can clearly see the bias in this case, as NONE of these idiot right wingers/libertarians were defending Travon Martin defending himself so just stop.

Anonymous

Oh fuq this gonna be a dank one

“He is sacrificing his fanbase to telemedicine” i shrieked! 💀

When is the grand opening of Red Scare University?

Some of your most retarded, smooth-brained takes yet! Keep up the good work ladies!

Dasha, lesbianism is not all that's cracked out to be, that's for sure, but godamn girl, you went to a women's college and are so incredibly bright and know many hot & smart & loving women -- what exactly is taking you so long?

she has literally talked about her prior experiences with it on this podcast. in the past

Breast feeding hormones and sleep deprivation really make Anna more right leaning and spiritual than ever, but I'm here for it

cringe. clearly you listen to cnn all day long 🤡🤡🤡

dylan dreilich

cool episode nice to hear you guys debate a little bit

Anonymous

The dream is clearly about Anna. Who you tell it to so gleefully first thing is part of the meaning. Both sets of breasts (Anna and dream lady) perfect and prominent but crucial reversal, lactating versus dry. There’s the lure of surface level gorgeousness (bathtub threesome) but “dry and fake,” causing unease and anxiety that’s transposed from Anna’s (actual mother milk) as a nourishing compelling figure who’s also somewhat scary in the extreme positions she takes. Not a dream on sex but rather fear of influence, being dark pilled and losing center

Anonymous

Austin University would be a sausage fest.

Volcan

The DNC / Media put the BLM / Antifa rioters on the street. They are the demons.

Anonymous

Everyone anxiously hedging with comments about Rittenhouse like “he was an idiot” “he wasn’t competent” he should’ve joined the military instead(🙄)” is being so childish and cowardly. Dasha and all these people know what’s going on and are afraid to say it. I am too though in real life so hypocritical of me to pretend not to understand in Dasha’s case especially.

Anonymous

My ex-bf was an unironic travis scott fan, he attended the first astroworld tour.

Tom Hallaran

Reading some Rene Girard, maybe - 'I saw Satan Fall Like Lightning' would level up the future hot takes on Satan / Evil, etc.

Antinous

Great episode. However Dasha kinda libtard take on Kyle. If you'd like someone to mansplain the case to you lemme know queen!

SE

"The only rational conclusion is to believe in God and demons. Here's the cast of Robert Altman's 1992 film 'The Player'." Anna's Ontological Proof

Really trying to follow what Anna is trying to say regarding Kyle, but it’s a mess and not a fully formed thought riddled with some wild jumps to conclusion.

Anna’s take on Kyle feels like jumping to conclusions… girl what ..

If you let evil people making evil arguments dictate the bounds of acceptable speech you’ve already surrendered to evil. You should be loud and proud that you see through the bullshit.

Dasha will always find a way to bring up her titty sucking kink in every episode.

Strange coincidences: Last night, I listen to Anna talking about recently watching Dean Stockwell in The Player. She notes that Stockwell died a few days ago, and she counts the viewing as a weird synchronicity. Anna's comments give me a chilly frisson. For just last Sunday, my girlfriend tells me she is going to catch a retrospective of Paris, Texas in Tokyo that afternoon (https://wenders-retrospective2021.com/). I've never seen it, but when I look up the film after she tells me the plan, I notice that Dean Stockwell is in it. This surprises me, since I've always associated the film with Nasstasja Kinski and Harry Dean Stanton (and Sam Shepard). Meanwhile, Dean Stockwell dies last Sunday....

I've been shooting since I was just a kid. I was trained by professional men who saw combat, they murder other human and watched thier friends die. First, he should not have been there, period. If you don't believe me listen to Joko best defense is avoiding conflict. Second, Kyle took a military assault rifle into a croud of people. He went out of his way to create a situation so he could shoot someone. Third, that's not a gun for self defense. I own a version of that and I can hit center mass at 600 yards with a 16 inch barrel. At close range you just point it like shot gun. He is not qualified nor mature enough to own a weapon like that. Forth, its dumb luck that he didn't kill someone he wasn't shooting at. Remember the third guy got hit in the arm, not great aim. If that had missed the bullet would have gone for miles and possibly kill a random person. It happens all the time. You clearly don't know anything about guns and how a mature adult handles them. The caviler additue toward guns is disgusting.

Nicholas Wall
>>71745753

I can manslaughter it for you. From a man who was taught to handle and respect guns from a young age by men who have seen combat. Kyle should not have been there, period. Jocko Willink says the best defence is to avoid conflict and retreat. A real man knows that fighting is absolutely the last resort. Kyle created a situation that gave him an excuse to shoot someone. He was wrong and maybe if he had real men to teach him this wouldn't have happened.

Nicholas Wall

Dasha is right about Kyle Rittenhouse. Kyle had no reason to be there. He went out of his way to be in a situation where he could get the opportunity to shoot someone. Why else did he have a gun? He was not protecting his home. He traveled out of state to an area of conflict to get into trouble. Gun ownership is a constitution right but its also a privilege earned by showing that you are responsible and respectful. In boy scouts you couldn't even carry a pocket knife if you didn't do the class and prove your self. I learned to be a responsible gun owner from men who understood the gravity of what it means to murder people. So now, first an AR-15 is not a good gun for self defense, especially in a crowd. That bullet could go anywhere. A stray shot could travel for miles. Even Sammy the Bull Gravano, who has killed 19 men thinks its a bad idea. He thinks a shotgun or a 38 revolver is best. I would listen to a man who murder 19 people for the MOB. Most importantly listen to Joko Willink, just don't put yourself in a bad situation. A man knows that backing down and avoiding the fight is the correct thing to do. I have personally been in a bad situation where a couple people tried to jump me at night in a park while walking my dog. I could have shot them but instead I backed away. Only psychos want to murder other humans. The caviler additude that people have today toward carrying a gun is disgusting.

magnets
>>71777965

He fled until menacing criminals chased him down and either tried to grab his gun or assaulted him. that's self-defense no matter what narrative one weaves and projects onto his intentions

Greg

That little retard went there to shoot his gun, period. He is a child with a crazy fucking mother. Now he has destroyed his life along with murdering others and accomplished absolutely nothing.

DW
>>71799275

Not true tho, he killed a pedophile and a wife beater who were destroying property in a black neighborhood. And when he's acquitted he'll have the rest of his life ahead of him to do whatever :)

Matt Burgess

Love these episodes that shed your lib audience (who in a year will be repeating Anna’s Kyle take as their own just like they did with Russiagate, MeToo, AOC etc)

Rittenhouse was an aspiring security guard Fox News young Republican type nerd and he evaporated 3 fervent and committed leftist scumbags with haste and efficiency. Framing things as right wing nerds vs cool leftist molesters doesn’t work out the way you think it does. How’s your arm? Does it sting more knowing he’s the type of camo wearing “support are troops” constitution worshipping sincere angel child that you leftist cretins attempt to mock online? Go back to explaining why self defense is bad and racist on Twitter, cult freak.

Nicholas Wall
>>71827386

There is no way he knew the back round of those people. So thats not relevant. Kyle should not have been there. Why was he there with an AR-15? If he didn't plan to shoot people he is still responsible for his actions. I don't know the exact laws of that jurisdiction but its probably manslaughter at the minimum. I don't agree with Jocko on everything. Jocko is a trained killer and will always see things through that lens. Jocko total missed the point of "War is a Racket" because he is a hammer looking for a nail. The fact remains you can't go all vigilanty.

Miles

Anna clearly wasn't expecting Dasha to push back on her reading of the Rittenhouse case. Notice at 32:00 Dasha explicitly counters her and Anna immediately shrinks back like "oh no I agree."

Feenabobina

I’m not right wing (tho political labels have become largely meaningless), & agree with Anna’s take on KR... Guilty verdict = a fat W for Anarcho-Tyranny 🎯

Feenabobina
>>71831848

Damn reading through some of these comments... Fucking disturbing takes...

Malika Nash

It’s ironic how Neri Oxman, wife of the hedge fund manager Bill Ackman who made those tweets in defense of Rittenouse and then was asked if his account was hacked, literally took money from Jeffrey Epstein — herself “willfully ignoring the facts of the case” when it was convenient and lucrative for her. Just as Anna is ignoring that Epstein connection while making a Epstein-Rittenhouse connection that suits *her* version of the narrative. Everyone’s got an angle. It’s important to pay attention to the fine print.

Anonymous

Love it when you two get on your spiritual. We need more of this desperately. Thank you always

>>71830598

That’s a good point. If Anna was correct she would have called Dasha a dumb bitch and piledrived her into the podcasting setup, ending the show there and then.

Calvin Cummings

Did you guys know that Vivian Kubrick, Stanley Kubrick’s daughter, is a QAnon/Boogaloo person? You should try to get her on the pod!

Ehhh

same 5 min stretch y’all said you don’t know travis music or fans at all and ALSO that he’s “fake and gay” and should call his next album astroturf. which one is it? anna full of shit the last 6 months.

Ehhh

lmfao the only rational explanation is to believe in god and demons. this shits so maga and thoughtless.

Just before Dean Stockwell's death, I saw him in Backtrack (director's cut version). Despite the impressive cast it was god-awful so much so I didn't finish it. So, despite your viewing of The Player, (through our recent viewing choices) we may share collective blame for Stockwell's death. Perhaps somewhat related to Fauci cult of personality, Amazon Prime keeps futilely promoting a Buttigieg documentary "Mayor Pete" on my Prime homepage. I am far more interested in Mayor Stoner or Mayor Pike (from Mayberry).

Goodness. This comment section is as tocic as twitters 😂. I’m not sure why I expected better. Anyhow, I found their conversation on Liberalism Being Evil fascinating - I’m not sure exactly what they mean but I wish they would take time to explore and discuss this further

While you guys are getting smokescreened by the rittenhouse discourse can someone pls explain the real controversy here? Ie, why did Azelia block Dasha?

Hey y’all. I love the podcast so much. I look forward to it all week. Ah. I do need to say. I listen to an older podcast about how Germans are more conservative about energy. That they don’t have washers and dryers. I just got back from Berlin. Fixing up my sister’s new home. The Germans actually have really crappy construction. Really crappy energy grid. They can’t have washers and dryers. I’m a plumber and their plumbing is really terrible. Their HVAC is garbage. The Germans don’t know how to build nice homes. I was shocked at how bad the construction was. Because we think as Americans the Germans are so great. They are not. We are better. As your only construction guy fan. I felt like this needed to be said.

wunderkimmy

Yeahhh, it’d be nice to keep up with some things with enough facts sometimes. Anna had some not so fully formed and rambling takes on kyle and Dasha’s was libtarded. Anyway, Kyle and other fools burning shit down would’ve not been there being stupid if the Wisconsin national guard was deployed and the police there got their shit together in the first place. Now the local police AND Wisconsin National guard are ready over awaiting verdict over Kyle. 🙄

While true, your take has very little, if anything, to do with the trial and whether he was justified in acting in self-defense.

What happened at 47:34 🤔🤔

Hmmm...the Catholicism is strong with this one. Time to get Mel on the pod.

Hi i really agree with you guys most of the time. But I think there are many ways to interpret science, and I feel like you're following a very outdated, superficial, conservative model.

While being a contrarian edge lord has its appeal for hot takes, it's not a good basis for interpreting science for those who need to be responsible with their interpretations -- like anybody with power.
