it’s early morning, and before i head off to work, we manage to sneak in a couple of games of league. even though we’re miles apart, there’s something comforting about hopping on discord and hearing your voice, both of us coordinating plays and sharing laughs as if we’re right next to each other. it’s a simple way to start the day, but these moments make the distance feel a little smaller. playing together like this, even in different cities, reminds me how lucky i am to have you on my team, in the game and in life.
