we are stuck at the airport early in the morning, heavy rain still pouring from the previous night. our flight has been delayed due to the inclement weather but we keep getting assurances that we'll be boarding soon. you're grumpy, tired, and a bit antsy to get on the plane already. you hate being up this early as is, you just want our holiday to begin. i get how you're feeling baby, here, put this in your ear, i made a playlist for our flight but i didn't think i would be whipping it out so early. here, put your head on my shoulder. we'll be boarding soon. our vacation has already started in my mind, it starts with you and me at the airport, watching the rain and planes go by.
