I resonate so deeply with the career choice conversation. I started graphic design school last year at 30 and my family still just say, "Hope it works out." I keep telling myself that pursuing something I actually care about beats stability in something that isn't working. You finding success in what you've pursued is encouraging 💜

Regarding the comfort show question: Quite recently I realised that I don’t really have any comfort shows anymore. I used to (the extended edition of LotR was my go to for YEARS) but I stopped doing that a couple of years ago so I just assumed I didn't really have the need for it anymore. But then I realised … and I kinda got embarrassed when I realised this cause it felt really vulnerable admitting this to myself ... cause it's scary for me to like be dependant or rely on something ... but these audios are my comfort show. If I feel like shit or sad I just open Patreon and search for whatever mood I'm in and there's always an audio that helps me feel better. ❤️

I always find people’s comfort show interesting!! It shows a lot of peoples personality 🤣 any comfort show of mine has todo with some sort of mystery or case solving. Like Psych and supernatural 😌 I do have to go watch the wire at some point.

Omg i used to watch Joe Pera too as my comfort show, but recently my favorite shows are Pluribus and Widow's Bay on Apple tv. So good 💯

wait omg same. i started school last year at 27 and i recently decided to focus on graphic design and marketing! I went back and forth all last year on whether i should do something “practical” or what I actually enjoy. in the end, i realized that i couldn’t continue to work towards something that made me miserable, and if it didn’t work out, at least i could say that i actually pursued my passions. your comment and k’s audio have rlly affirmed for me that I’m on the right track<3 i hope we both find success in what we love! 💕

Comfort shows for me depends on the mood. I used to rewatch the originals and daredevil series so much but now my comfort shows have changed to Heartland and Jack Ryan. Ooooooo I also love a good crime documentary. I love trying to figure out a puzzle as I’m watching.

Same. When I was a teenager learning English Friends was my go to comfort show. And to this day I have so many vocal stims from that show. If anyone asks me if I got the keys I have to do the whole Thanksgiving key scene between Monica and Rachel. Or if someone says "we we're on a break" it's game over. 😂❤️

I'm forever thankful for Friends and Gilmore Girls. Those two shows are responsible for like 80% of my english vernacular ... and my american accent. 😅 But I like ... never watched them now? Idk why but it makes me anxious watching a show from my teenage years or early 20s. I guess it reminds me of old anxieties? 😂
