you told me you wanted to come over tonight because you really, really wanted to watch a movie together. i should have seen through the excuse. because once the movie starts, your attention doesn't seem to find the screen. every time i look at you, i see you looking right back at me. if you just wanted my attention, there are easier ways to get it. and if you just want me, you know you can have me anytime. all you need to do is use your words. but you've never enjoyed doing that. you've always preferred being difficult. good thing it doesn't take much for me to read your mind. whatever you want, all you have to do is ask. we didn't need to put on a movie for that.
