i haven’t drawn in forever, but when i saw you sitting there on the couch, the daylight pouring across your face, i had to pick up a piece of paper and a pencil and start sketching. it took you a minute to realize what was happening, too distracted looking through something on your phone. by the time you notice it’s already too late, i’m halfway done and there’s no way i’m gonna stop. you have no idea how beautiful you are, if you did you would understand my need to preserve what i see on paper. it’s a rough sketch because i’m sorely out of practice but i hope i did you some amount of justice. even if i could paint perfectly, i could never do you justice.
