I really wanna work like no-work, yess, like paid hobbies or something like that. Doing what we love is another level of happiness. Glad to hear that, thanks for all your work, K! And always, Chinese food lol Marriage need a serious conversation for sure :)

Ah, seven more episodes. - lol i like ngtkk but not as much as the original. Also this may be an ‘unpopular opinion’ but I miss the capitalization in the titles… but onto my ‘feedback’ - why did the marriage question sort of hurt … reality set in lmao - no you actually seem well organized and that’s one of the things i admire in what you do - welp that’s really it got me lol this gtkk seemed more laidback. I liked it <33

nothing to see here

Yes! Values and beliefs are important and I think it should be aligned for a couple. And having "THE one" is a myth in my opinion

Ack. Monday. Ooooo I was just thinking we hadn't heard a naughty one in a sec LMAO I love the commitment you have for this. Even with irl stuff in the background that could easily derail it. Years in music in public school and 5 years in music school did a great job at teaching me how to take criticism easier than I used to. As for writing, I get nervous for critiques, but I also low key live for it. I'm very much into trying to make myself better in any aspect I can. I still don't understand how you do it all...it's SO MUCH. WAIT 9AM TO 1AM??? broskie....dude...wth But seriously, my bestie had this conundrum. Talked to some people and found out her degree was not going to make her happy in the end. After some HELLA NICE encouragement from her husband, she wants to open a etsy type crafty shop and get paid to do what she loves. While it's not the road for me (I've tried a hobby as a career and it fucked my mental health), it makes me very happy to see people are able to get joy from it. Carrot cake. I am a sucker for a good carrot cake. Sue me. So you just wanna be a vampire got it. It's a tough call. And only a decision you can make at the end of the day. Honest communication is going to be your key. Hugs to the person who asked. Oh man. The buzz at a movie premiere would be fun to experience. Oh man. Food network was how me and my sister bonded as kids. So many hard questions. Dang. I wish y'all who are in the predicaments the best of luck! Have a great Monday and a great week!

The amount of wisdom this man has... God! We need more people like you on earth. Like... life wouldn't be so hard if we were less toxic and more understanding.

Every time you say “diametrically opposed” I think of that line in Room Where It Happens (Hamilton) that goes “diametrically opposed, foes” and now the song is stuck in my head 😂 That age question was really good. If we go on looks I feel like I’d be mid 20s. But I feel like I’m both late 20s and early 20s. I have the experience of the older 20s but the uncertainty of someone who just turned 20. I can’t really believe I’m 30. Great episode as always.

The banana bread as your favourite "cake" made me chuckle, because my nan's go-to dessert is her homemade banana bread "cake" - it becomes cake when she adds a layer of homemade peanut butter frosting. I can't tell if that sounds amazing or terrible, but it's sooo good. The icing is not too sweet, but not really peanut buttery, and it's just sooo good. I didn't like it when I was younger because I had more of a sweet tooth, but I really like it now actually. My nan is amazing in the kitchen and we *just* had some for my dad's birthday last weekend. That's such a specific random thing, and the timing made my day. :P

I asked the work/life balance question (as an anon). Thanks for answering! I really do see how much love, care & work goes into what you do. The quality of your audios and the affection and playfulness in your voice, that would only come through if you were passionate about what you were doing. I love that you can do something so creative as a full time job, and that we as listeners can support you in this. Working for yourself has it’s pluses & minuses, like 16 hours work days 😬. But if creativity strikes and you’d rather just get it all done, then it’s great that you have the flexibility to do that. We’ll just have to start requesting sleep audios, so you can rest on the job. 😂 Or just please schedule some vacation time when you need it? The man who helps me sleep also needs sleep himself. Ok? Core values are hard, especially when you discover that someone you thought shared them, doesn’t. I’ve had to end a very long friendship due to opposing beliefs and it sucks. The kids/not kids thing can definitely be a deal breaker in relationships. And it should be - you don’t want to have children with someone who’s not 100% in. Parenthood is wonderful but it is challenging - you need someone in the trenches with you. I love children and would be absolutely thrilled to be a parent, but I also wouldn’t be devastated if it didn’t happen.

Banana bread is way better than any cake I’ve had. I make a pretty good banana bread. Not gonna lie.

Damn, that answer is so inspiring regarding your content. The 9AM-1AM tho.. dedication. You and your work are so so appreciated. Also, banana bread *is* a cake 🫣 Not sure if I'd consider croquembouche a cake.. What I'd do to be 23 again..
