Can’t believe I haven’t listened to this before! As an L&D nurse and mother myself I have to say, this is soooo well done!!🙌🏼 I have a hard time believing you’ve not actually experienced this in real life! Everything is so accurate! Except I’m sure most moms wish they only had to push three times!😅😂 I’ve seen a lot of moms push for 3+ hours!🥴 Also when you said they took the baby to weigh her yet the cord was still intact, I was giggling picturing the longest dang umbilical cord in human history 🤭😂

I honestly expected the crying, as I almost cried myself. It's hard holding emotions in during such a life-changing event. The amount of detail is epic, including thinking about the logistics right away (I feel like I'd probably do that myself, tbh 😅), and skin to skin contact. The amount of wholesome is off the charts, and I wouldn't expect anything less.

This is so incredibly well done, with the very real emotions coming out, the sound effects, all of it was so immersive and perfect I almost thought there was a baby in the room! And remembering details like placenta delivery, the skin to skin contact, the weighing and measuring and all the clerical stuff that goes with a new human. So so so good, K! 💛

Aw I loved this! The baby cries was way too cute. And thank you for remembering that the placenta also has to be delivered after baby, I liked the realism of that (because in real life that’s super important). Loved the little details like the delayed cord clamping & skin to skin with the wee babe. Someone’s been googling in preparation for pretend fatherhood 😉

Hey I love this series and I was wondering if we could get a post partum depression because I never see those and I know a lot of got that a few weeks after birth where they just wanted nothing to do with their baby and it makes u feel so horrible
