But notice the placement of the retinol in the skincare routine. He says there's only two steps after the retinol and he talks about an eye cream. That means there's only ONE hydration step after the retinol. I don't know what he's cooking but in my humble opinion it's dehydrated. 🤓

Girlies, I need help!! What is the best under eye cream to get rid of/reduce the appearance of the dark circle under my eyes? I’ve got the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Cream and one of the Dior eye creams too, I got a Dior eye serum so I use that with the cream. I’ve got one more but I can’t remember what it’s called. I have used them but maybe I’m not using it for long enough. I need a good eye cream that will actually get rid of it. Thanks!☺️💗

It’s a very humbling experience when K posts a skincare audio and I haven’t done my skincare yet. It’s so embarrassing 😭 I have to get my ass up and get it done lmao. Jokes aside though, I absolutely LOVE your skincare audios, they are the best. Please keep them coming K, thank you <3

In that case sleep is the best choice, followed by eye creams with caffeine and/or vitamin C (bonus points if the cream has something in it that can reflect light which doesn’t fix the problem, but definitely helps to mask it)

Okay, considering I'm not the only skincare obsessed person who noticed this I'm going to offer my services as K's skincare consultant. Cause if I point out an issue I like to offer a solution. This is the the anatomy of a evening skincare routine: 1. Remove makeup and cleanse 2. Exfoliate (this includes acids and retinol) 3. Serums 4. Eye cream 5. Moisturizer And if we're real dry or fuck around with retinols: 6. Oils or squalene So K, if you do more skincare audios in the future - WHICH WE LOVE - now you know so you don't have to deal with sassy skincare comments from us (mostly me). 😁😇🤓

And the reason why we're reacting is because retinol is such a hardcore exfoliant that it can fuck up your skin barrier which leads to peeling and really really dry skin. That's why we're like "BRO WHERE'RE THE HYDRATORS!?". Okay, skincare rant is over. ✌️🤓❤️

If we give the man the right tools he can create skincare audio greatness. 🤞🥰 Also: If we want to be fancy, which ofcourse we do: - Sheet masks = Serum - Clay or acid masks = Exfoliate - Hydrating masks = Moisturize Second also: A morning routine can vary from person to person depending on their needs but the three basic steps are cleanse, moisturize and SPF. We never ever ever forget the SPF.

Yeah…I can’t believe I’m admitting this….but I currently don’t do anything, like at all 😬 I’ve been fortunate, because genetics, but now that I’m getting older I don’t want to push it and regret not taking care of my skin later. It just all seems overwhelming 😅

if you want to get into skincare there are so many professionals who have made videos about where to start i recommend Caroline Hirons, she is the best she will review products and cuts all the BS and her recommendations have helped me with my skin so much!

I'm just jumping in here two days later to say: You should NOT feel guilty for not having a skincare routine. ❤️ I have one because I have acne prone skin and my skin would freak out without it. So I need ten products to do what your body does naturally. That's why I'm skincare nerd. 🤓 The best anti-aging skincare advice I can give you is to use SPF. But as Billa said Caroline Hirons is an amazing dermatologist that gives great advice. She has a book called "Skin Care" that is eye opening for both beginners and skincare nerds. It goes through every step and every kind of product you need and don't need. You should also check out Shereen Idriss, also known as Pillow Talk Derm on Insta. She's amazing! 😍👌❤️
