Been a while, but here's my Japanese fun fact of the episode: When they're talking about eating pork bowls before the match, Hinata had Katsu-don, which is fried pork cutlet over rice. It is, of course, delicious, but the bigger point is that while katsu is shorthand for cutlet, written another way, it's the verb for win. So there's a superstition in Japan (that Hinata obviously subscribes to) that eating Katsu-don will help with winning whatever you're getting into that day.

It's so perfect!!! 🤣🤣 I love how ya'all mentioned Hinata's growth and I love that growth for this show is never stagnant; there is always room for improvement and as always, I can't wait for you guys to see it. ☀️🧡 Aahhh I love this show because everyone has their moment and it's not just the "main character." I don't know why I love this episode so much, but I'm always happy to rewatch it when following reactions. There's something about how this team changes their tune. How even though they were beaten so badly by Shiratorizawa and they had no desire to win, to now showing up and wanting their best, really really hits me with something. (Also I love their silly captain with his silly hair 🤣 but the show of respect afterwards is just ✨️) Captains and their strengths is a theme is the second half of the season. And it's Yachi's first tournament! Yay! I love that Grampa Ukai came out too!
