Rewatching this show with you guys has made me realize how absolutely unhinged some of the stuff zuko was saying was, like wdym “the safety of the crew doesn’t matter” 😭 I’d jump ship immediately

Something that isn’t talked about enough is the loss of aang’s people, seemingly to him, overnight. Can you imagine like taking a nap and everyone and everything you ever knew is just gone? Your entire culture and people just gone? Aang takes things in stride but that is a devastating loss for anyone to experience.
