Quirks definitely correlate with and affect your personality so don't ever expect bakugo to turn into some chill guy, but be patient, things will be explained with him in time. And yeah, he never actually means he's going to kill his classmates, it's just his catchphrase, so don't take it literally lol he's just an angry boy. But you grow to love him trust me.

MHA is my favorite anime but the "fanservice" is so unnecessary. 100% agree with YZ.

Thanks for another great reaction. Unlike many people I started watching anime later in life as an adult and the fanservice was quite shocking. I don't remember anything like it in old school Saturday morning cartoons lol. It's definitely weird and not justifiable, but I think what happens is after consuming so much anime it becomes something that is expected even if it isn't accepted. At least that's what happened with me. My mind registers it unconsciously but I don't give it any thought anymore because it's always there in some form. Like in this episode the amount of times the frame falls on MoMo's chest, even when her face isn't in the frame is ridiculous. But I will say that MHA is on the tamer end of fanservice and it doesn't take away from how good the show is. But some people are just weird and pervs and will try to justify things much worse than this and it is sad.

You’re definitely right about the fanservice. Especially with the underage characters. The buttcheek power example had me dying though😂😂. But yeah whenever anyone says it’s necessary or normal, they need to do some kind of introspection. Because it’s never necessary. Like even mineta’s pervy behaviour is meant to be a joke in the show. But giving off the impression that it’s all harmless, is quite dangerous imo. Especially because there are a lot of kids watching

We should not normalize that type of behavior especially when it comes to the young impressionable mind. Kids are kids and adults should never compromise their safety. Even if it is an animation. I think it says a lot about the writers that they'd do that to characters they themselves created. -YZ

Being aware of images we put in our minds is important. Especially when younger people are obviously attracted to shows like this. It's a great story, with cool colors and characters but "fanservice" should not be thrown in there. Protecting women and children is priority and I don't condone any medium that would endanger them. But I also know it's a show so I'm trying to be openminded while still being true to what I feel is right. -YZ
