Their captain is probably one of my top five favorite characters in all of haikyuu , I really love his moments and personality

YZ seems so over it 🤣. Haikyu is full of great life lessons from several characters journeys, but I feel like Tanaka and Kita are the most relatable characters from a real every day life perspective. I agree consistency is everything. You can either be consistent or complacent and you'll rightfully rep the rewards of whichever you choose.

about suguru and mika (the couple? who's watching the game/guy who lost to nekoma), u mightve missed it but she asked him to share his "expertise" bc he was muttering to himself. its not super plot related n i cant remember if yall watched what im thinking about but she broke up with him sometime before his game against nekoma bc he was "too focused" on volleyball. she went to that game though n saw how much it/his team meant to him so her accompanying him to nationals is like her trying to get to know his interests better. they make good spectators though lol i appreciate how furudate (manga artist) doesn't just "throw" his side characters away after they lose a game (ex. daichi's ex-teammate motivating him before the shiratorizawa match, hyakuzawa aka the 6'7 player being at the first year training camp, etc.)
