yea you get to keep serving. When I played JV in HS, I served up to 24 pts and missed the last serve lmao. just my luck right?! I heard my coach jinx me man lol. she knew the pressure got to me. It was still 25-0 tho bc once they served, we got it back over but they couldn't return it. doesnt happen often like other comments said, the other team just wasn't good at receives.

These last couple episodes really showcase how once there's a simple change of perspective (switching out with Suga) and a change to the mindset (advice from senpai's Suga and Ennoshita) you start to see those instant results. Then you get to continue to evolve from there.

I guess this is part of Kageyama's "genius" quality. He really is a fast learner. He learned a lot just by observing (like learning from Oikawa who refuses to teach him anything, and from watching Kenma). He learned even faster when someone guides him (like Ennoshita and Suga). I don't know I you noticed, but Oikawa also underwent his own version of the king of the court phase in middle school. He's only thinking about how he'd be the best setter, how he could beat Ushijima, how he would go to the Nationals. He even missed his sets and got benched like Kageyama during a match. The main difference is Oikawa had Iwaizumi, who kept him grounded and who never abandoned him while he was at his worst. Kageyama didn't have that. His teammates abandoned him instead of knocking some sense in his head. It's totally different when Kageyama is in Karasuno, how his senpais help support and guide him. Having the team/teammates can really make the difference. Personally, I feel that Kageyama has the best character development in season 1. I think it's probably because in the earlier version of Haikyuu, Furudate originally made Kageyama the protagonist. I read a few panels of the 1st Haikyuu and Kageyama originally had #10 jersey (maybe #10 is important to Furudate that's why he gave it to his protags?). Maybe we're seeing some of the plots from the 1st Hakyuu? I don't blame him for changing the protag to Hinata, though, because who doesn't like an underdog story? This version of Haikyuu is a lot more fun. I liked Hinata instantly, while it took me a bit longer to love Kageyama. But personally, I love it when I change my perspective on a character. My favorites are usually the ones I didn't like at first, then I learned to love as time goes on, like Kageyama and Aone, lol!

You shared from great points , thank you 🙏🏾 That’s interesting Kageyama was the original protagonist. That vibe did leak over to this version. Haha I have a few favorites , but we’ll see where this goes wants I finish Haikyuu .
