No hate! But What’s so cringey about it? Haha I know Seb gets cringed out easily, and since I’m the type of person who gets secondhand embarrassment really quickly too, I usually understand where he’s coming from. But I honestly don't get why these performances are considered cringey. I’ve never felt cringed out watching these videos, and I've literally never seen anyone call them cringey either. Sure, times were different back then, but I genuinely believe that BTS’s passion and how much they enjoy the stage are the very reasons they became so popular! I don't think seb would have withstood kpop back then, Pentagon's Shine, Twice's TT, momoland, russian roulette, etc....I was all about aegyo culture. Even though I discovered K-pop in 2018-19, I was able to find joy through those songs. So nostalgic man!

I'm Korean. K-pop idols have traditionally included songs like this as part of their promotions. It’s a way of showing a more fun and approachable side of themselves, kind of like fan service. It’s pretty common in K-pop to promote two great title tracks and have one more fun, fan-service-style song as well. 😅

To me, nothing BTS does—especially back then—is embarrassing; they broke the mold and shattered the rigid structures that defined K-pop groups at the time. One of the things I love about BTS is their sense of humor and the fact that they have no shame; they are willing to do things that might be considered embarrassing, but ultimately they don't care, because it’s always fun for both them and ARMY.

guys you really have to remember that bts were promoting really hardcore, serious songs at the SAME time, so these performances were meant to be fun/almost comic relief. they even chose these sons to do halloween dress up dance practices of because the choreos meant to be goofy and silly, its satire! its kinda like how bts make dynamite and butter quite silly during their live concerts, its just meant to offer some variety

"Am I wrong" is literally one of my favourite BTS's song. You really need to read and understand the lyrics to appreciate it that much more, and then with the choreography/performance, it's just genius.
