Just heads up from someone that has been ARMY for 13 years. Don't go into kpop thinking is going to be like BTS. They have always been way out of that box and doing their own thing. That industry fears and hate them in the same way. They have changed a lot of how that exploitative industry works. They're not the rule, they're the exception.

I actually love the idea of exploring other groups for you guys. I’m just worried about the FANS of the other groups. Every fandom has their bad bunch don’t get me wrong, but the way these fandoms have been treating BTS lately is HORRIBLE & that’s not taking away from their artist ! I wish in the future if you guys are going to branch out I only can hope for a toxic free community ! I’m not saying ARMYs are saints. Just know that you’re about to open a whole new can of worms ! I adore BTS but I would DIE if you reacted to other HYBE groups particularly Enhypen. They have a survival show they were formed through, which is obviously very different to how BTS were formed, they are an amazing group and all the members are around the same age as you. I really love your chanel and i think you'd enjoy getting familiar with a couple other groups.

Honestly, I’m glad you guys stuck to BTS up till now cause I find a lot of reactors will start with them and then just drop off, forgetting about them and their initial audience. You guys should know how much I genuinely enjoy this content! There are hundreds of reaction channels out there, hundreds of them specifically listening to BTS and yet I've grown tired of pretty much all of them. I've found myself detaching from a lot of the reaction channels because I've started to notice how dull the reactions actually are - I always just loved watching people react to BTS without caring much about the people reacting (just as long as they liked BTS), which I'm just tired of now, but I've been with you guys since the first 'haters react' video, and still here (Patreon subscription and all) because of you guys. It feels like watching my favourite people with a group of friends. I genuinely care about what you guys have to say and no matter where you head from here, content-wise, I'm happy to stick around.

Ayy, let's go, the Jimin effect is in motion! This was weirdly entertaining to watch. Me and Seb have the same bias and now also the same favourite album? As for favourite songs, this truly is a hard choice to make. There are too many songs that are just masterpieces in terms of production. For example I think Tomorrow, Louder than bombs, Black Swan, House Of Cards, these are all masterpieces, but Run has been and probably always will be my favourite. There's nostalgia attached to it, idk it almost always makes me emotional listening to it. Great video guys 💕

I always wondered how you guys met, and knowing you guys been friends since that long is sooooo amazing. Of course, if you want to start reacting to other groups, that’s completely up to you. I just wanted to give you a little heads up that the community will probably change quite a bit because of it. I’ve seen this happen with pretty much every other channel that started doing the same thing. You’ll probably get more people from other fandoms joining, while some BTS fans might leave because there’s less BTS content. And with more people from different fandoms, you’ll probably also get some who become a little toxic or start getting annoyed if it’s been a while since you reacted to their group. There’s also probably going to be some people who will hate on BTS, because for some reason a lot of Kpop fans from other fandoms seem to have a weird amount of hate towards BTS. And btw, I’m not saying you shouldn’t react to other groups at all. I listen to a few other Kpop groups myself, so I have nothing against it. I’m just saying this because I’ve seen the same thing happen with every other channel that started reacting to multiple groups, so I honestly don’t think it’s something you’ll be able to avoid completely. It’s just a little heads up for when you start reacting to other groups, so you don’t get shocked or overwhelmed by it, because Kpop fans can be VERY "passionate" about their favorite group

About reacting to other kpop groups I think that would be fine. It honestly up to you. But also I think you guys should create a separate channel and react to music of different genres in general. Idk what you guys listen to but for example do a reaction on Bad Bunny album or Billie Ellis’s album etc. I think that would be a good idea. And you guys can decide whether to react to kpop groups on that other channel or on this one. I just really want to see you guys react to music in general bc I’d also be interested to hear your opinions and reactions to it. Also something else I saw another yt comment say is that if you choose to react to other kpop groups on this channel the community will change a lot. It happens with lots of other reactors too. The problem is that some people from other groups will join and maybe some army will leave bc there is less bts content which isn’t as crazy but the problem is that some ppl will be a little toxic and might get annoyed if you take to long to react to there favorite group. I’ve seen it happen with other channels. Ppl can sadly be very parasocial about these groups and act very competitive with each group and take it so seriously sadly. Maybe it won’t happen if you guys do it but I’m just saying the start might be like that so if you choose to react to other kpop groups on this channel, Maybe start slow and start reacting to one other new group at a time so it can be a smooth transition.

I am honestly here just for bts, so I hope the other kpop groups won't take away bts' spot on the schedule. And if they do, I think it's only fair that the membership would cost less. Or, you could make different tiers for different kpop groups. Or, make another channel. I sincerely wanna pay just for bts content, but that doesn't mean you can't react to others. I’m Korean, but I’m not really into K-pop. I love BTS’s music and I absolutely love the members. Honestly, I’ve never been this invested in any K-pop idol before. BTS is the only group I’ve ever fallen this hard for. A lot of Korean ARMYs are actually like this too. It’s not that I’m putting other K-pop artists down—there are plenty of talented idols, but I just haven’t found that kind of special charm that makes me really fall for them. 💜

I’m here because this is the only channel dedicated solely to BTS. Watching other K-pop groups would naturally take time away from BTS content. Of course, we’re not asking you to stop watching other groups, but there are still so many BTS and solo performances you haven’t watched yet. Some Armies may also leave because of the limited time for BTS content and the long wait between BTS reactions (same goes for me). Focusing more on BTS would give you more time to cover the many performances and content that are still waiting to be watched.

I think the membership should stay the same and since on Sundays we don't get a bts drop now, that day could be reserved for the other groups content. it's better than doing different tiers because some people, that would like to see all content, would need to choose just one

I personally don't have anything against reacting to other groups. It's the fans that bring my mood down. I've seen many reaction channels go from reacting to bts to discovering other groups. And the fans are almost always hating on bts or the armies because they get more reactions or if they will polls for reactions. I did get into a few groups a few years back, but their music just wasn't for me. I just wish you the best and hope you have fun.

I feel like im not alone in saying that including that would impact your channel & definitely patreon content. If you could, please separate them because other fandoms will have multiple group requests & will ultimately change how you do things regardless so definitely make another channel for it.

You absolutely can still do it on this channel and make it work but I think a lot of people, me included, would actually mind. I wouldn't mind if it was kept separate because it is just not the same playing field, I dont think they'll understand until they get to it but BTS is a group that prioritizes music. As a K-pop "multistan" of six years, my heart leaps with joy that you want to discover more groups. BTS are unique and defy the usual K-pop "rules," and - as you said - you don't know all that much about K-pop yet. I understand that this news might not please a lot of ARMYs, so I agree that starting a new channel is a good approach. Personally, I’d like to recommend STRAY KIDS, given that two of their members grew up in Australia. Like BTS, they are a self-producing group - something that really isn't the norm in K-pop (which I don't think you realize yet). One of the members even used to be a backup dancer for BTS during their Wings tour. As others have mentioned, TXT and CORTIS are also great choices; they are under the Big Hit label and are practically BTS's younger brothers (especially in TXT's case). Another group that comes to mind is ATEEZ - also self-producing - who come from a smaller agency and really had to work hard to make their way up. Whichever group you choose, I’ll be looking forward to it. Just please, take it one at a time. Love you!

Like you have a channel for the dramas/action tv shows you watch, I would suggest starting a separate channel for the other K-Pop groups if you're thinking of going that route. Keep this channel solely for BTS. I might get roasted for this but a third channel would not be out of the question. I would subscribe but I'd like to see you keeping your focus on BTS for THIS channel.

I do have to say, I've tried to listen to a few others (TXT, Blackpink, Enhypen, Ateez, Straykids) but honestly, I've never felt any real connection to them like I do with BTS. I do like a lot of TXT's songs and a few others, but never on the same level as BTS...not even close.

I really love this kind of content where you share more of your personal side. Seb dear, you remind me so much of Jin’s reaction to spicy food. 😂 As for my thoughts on you reacting to other K-pop artists, hmmmmm, I’m not really sure. Maybe it’s because I’m one of those ARMYs who only really follows BTS and isn’t into K-pop in general. That’s why I tend to look for creators who exclusively react to BTS. BTS already has so much content that sometimes I’m surprised to discover that there are still things I didn’t even know existed! 😅 For me, keeping up with other K-pop groups can feel a little overwhelming and tiring, especially with all the fandom wars that can get quite toxic. Other fandoms are also very protective of their idols, and sometimes it feels like everything could easily turn into a clash. So personally, I’m happy just staying in my BTS bubble. 💜

It’s completely understandable that you want to explore and react to other K-pop groups! As a longtime fan of your channel, my only hope is that you avoid unnecessary comparisons or putting BTS down to uplift others. I sometimes check out other artists myself (Taemin, ATEEZ, LE SSERAFIM, etc.), but when we say there’s NO ONE like BTS, we truly mean it. I wanted to get into other groups too, but I've never found one that comes close to what BTS is, and I mean in everything: stage presence, vocals, concepts, lyrics, you name it. So please, don't try to find them in other groups, because you honestly won't.

Honestly, if you guys started a channel where you reacted to other K-pop groups, especially boy groups, I’d be so shocked and disappointed that I think I’d have to leave. I don’t want you guys to become just another K-pop reaction channel like so many others. I’m not someone who loves K-pop in general. I love BTS. That’s why I really want you guys to remain unique and one of a kind, just like BTS. That’s what makes this channel special to me. Of course, I understand that it’s ultimately up to you guys, and I respect that. I just hope you’ll continue to be yourselves and keep what makes you different from all the other reaction channels.

It’s your channel and you can do what you want . To be honest . Not really a Kpop fan. I signed up because of BTS. This happened to the other reactors that I subscribed to before this channel . They started delving into other kpop gps. YouTube Recommendations that they got from fans of other groups to promote their faves. The comment section got messy with fan wars and arguments and the reactors started to make less bts contents because they have to make time for a lot of the other groups they started reacting to . It got so boring so I unsubscribed. Not paying to watch reaction to other groups . Just not interested . I mean, I was Born and raised in Asia and where I came from, Kpop was made fun of as cringe, anime wannabe copycats of Jpop . BTS made me gave Kpop a chance because I fell in love with them . Guess what. Even despite checking out other kpop contents because of my friend (or just curious when it sneeks up on my feed) Still don’t really care for kpop. There might be some songs here and there that I might find”catchy” but not enough to make me want to invest my time on them or their members. Since 2018 of checking out other Kpop acts since my friend is a multi , even went to a couple other Kpop concerts , but nah. Every song release from the groups my friend likes are same old , same old . The “school girl, feisty , girl power , post apocalyptic, strip tease , xena the princess warrior” vibe for girl groups and the “look at me I’m so tough , mafia, gangster , futuristic, post apocalyptic, cool, anime “ vibe for boy groups . The same feel for every Comeback ! I get bored watching their award shows because once you see one you’ve basically seen them all .

I agree. Do a separate channel. I am not into kpop just bts. I tried to listen to a couple groups but after 5-10 seconds I give up. Its just not my vibe. If they do one day a week for other groups in this channel, that is doable. otherwise i'd have to leave unfortunately if its more than that. This is the only channel i subscribe to in patreon. I used to with CCW but gave up on them as this channel is much more enjoyable. :)

I’m here for BTS but you can see other people 🤣 BTS will be your first love and I’m pretty sure you won’t love anyone else the same. But you also won’t know how BTS compares until you hear the landscape now, and who they were up against when they were coming up. Ignore the toxic comments you’re gonna get because they’ll come even more when you do. But let’s be real - we don’t consume just one artist, director, author, anime , tv show … you can’t do it with music. BTS keeps you well fed because they can, and do everything and their solos are so different so sometimes ARMY don’t have to look elsewhere. Finding new artists and anime was so fun for me when I was younger; and finding a good one was exciting. With that said, I have heard other k-pop groups and listen to it if the playlist shuffles randomly. I never actively deep dived… at the end of the day though, I’m cool just listening to BTS 🤣

If you’re going to react to more K-pop groups, I recommend starting with Killing Voice —specifically Red Velvet’s episode. Since you’re already somewhat familiar with Wendy (who collaborated with Jin), I’m sure you’ll love these vocal queens. There are so many girl groups with talented vocalists; Mamamoo is one of them (Moonbyul is a member who is also friends with Jin—I’m not sure if they still are, but she is extremely talented).

I think its good that you guys want to explore the k-pop world but I do hope its a separate channel or tiers because this channel would become very toxic so fast. A lot of these k-pop fans HATE BTS and I would hate for it to affect this channel. I'm currently in another channel where they also started off with BTS and decided to react to more groups and unfortunately they only react to BTS like once every two months 😭 I've been a follower since day 1 and I would just be sadden to see this channel also go in that direction.

I agree with the others here. I love bts and i know some other groups (even been to some concerts) but i'd never stay like subscribed to a channel that aside from bts also does other groups because most of them don't interest me much. So a separate channel would be great because there are some people that would be interested in it! just a lot of actual army's are not interested in that.

I think one of the things that bothers me the most is how K-Pop groups have followed the trends that BTS create, so that it feels like there's very little originality left. Endless copies of what has been successful, until the original art loses its value. Even outside of BTS, NewJeans was a more recent case of a successful group whose concept was recreated to death. I've tried listening to other K-Pop too and it all starts sounding the same. That's why I stick with BTS when it comes to K-pop. I listen to a lot of music in many different genres and languages too of course.

I think BTS is an GOATed way to get introduced to Kpop and then listening to other groups just widens your love for the genre as well! I agree with the comments as well that once you listen to BTS, it stays as your ultimate becuase they are so diverse, and go above and beyond, not saying that other groups don't but BTS has always been that group in my eyes. if you want to start another kpop reactions id say start at the Hybe or even bighit. Try groups like CORTIS, TXT or Le SSerafim. they all have different concepts but sre linked to BTS in some way or another too. its better than just diving in whats popping now.

Example: outside music, i only watch shows, interviews, etc related to BTS. for other groups etc, i only have some of their music on my playlist, but i wont deep dive into their other content. e.g. i love Epik High, and have gone to a couple of their shows, but in terms of diving into their other content like i do with BTS, not so much. On the topic of trying out different K-pop groups. They all have their own uniqueness; don't expect them to be like BTS. That's the mistake I made at first was lowk disappointed. But learning more, I have come to realise that they just have their own style, and BTS is genuinely on their own level of greatness that can't be matched; they have broken out of the K-pop mould, kind of. Nevertheless, there are many groups that are really good in their own way. Either way if u decide to explore or not have fun!!!

you guys could do something fun like a live twitch stream, where you have a timed vote and we select which artist & songs you guys listen to based on the winner. Then you guys just pull up live performances or MVs and just react to whoever wins. I've seen this on another creator's channel, and it works wonderfully for them. Also, it's just fun to interact with your fans too. Would also suggest exploring other korean music aside from kpop, like korean indie or hip hop, etc. But would suggest you guys upload that stream on here/ youtube so we can see it as well

I’d absolutely love for you guys to get into other groups, there’s so many groups that bring something different to the table and you can find some really amazing music and content from them. ik a lot of army don’t like when reactors pivot into more groups but i think you should cause music is endless and you may find groups you really love and music that will stick with you! if you think about it, BTS themselves make such amazing music because of their diverse music taste so i don’t think it’s fair to limit yourselves to just one group I will say, if you plan on deep diving into other groups i’d suggest groups like Stray Kids, Seventeen, or Ateez just because they are all heavily involved in their music and production so you’d probably enjoy diving into their behind the scenes like you do with BTS. You guys could even start with the Killing Voice series which showcases snippets of the groups most popular songs to get a taste of their style.

I feel the same. The reason why I subscribed is because they only react to BTS. I've listened to other groups like TXT, BlackPink, KatsEye, New Jeans, Cortis, Stray Kids. But BTS is the only band/artist I stan. BTS is my ult. Once this channel reacts to other Kpop groups, I will no longer subscribe. There is still SO much BTS content they haven't seen, live performances, Rise of Bangtan, etc...BTS is NOT the norm, they are the anomaly.

I found out that Kpop is not my thing when i was looking for a placeholder for BTS when they were in the Military and i had a miserable experience after that and i feel bad about it. I wouldn’t mind if it was just BigHit/Hybe groups because they support and know each other but personally I don’t have much time for other groups and I definitely can’t afford to support other groups but I do listen now and then. I think Txt, Cortis, Le Sserafim and Illit would be ok as their fandoms don’t fight with us, or at least I haven’t noticed.
