I'm excited to share the public release of MindWare 0.2.1!

✨ What's New:

This update focuses on expanding the story with Trix at The Hole. You'll experience her band performance and the events that follow will bring you two closer than ever before.

Besides the new story content, I've gone through as many bug reports as possible (thank you for sending them!) and fixed a whole bunch of issues - I regret how many progression-breaking bugs there were, and I hope they're all fixed now.

Many of these bugs were the result of my inconsistent work schedule, where I'd complete one part of the game, then not be able to continue working on it the next day. This led to issues where I'd forget to properly close quests or mark messages as read.

The good news is that I've finally established a regular daily development schedule! While I still need to balance this with my regular work, I believe I've found a sustainable pace. It's now just a matter of maintaining this routine until it becomes second nature.

  • Fixed: Browser errors when visiting PornNexus with older save files. PornNexus image pools are now properly initialized.

  • Improved: Added manual PornNexus initialization to Extra Options.

  • Fixed: Trix instant message not preventing sleep properly.

  • Fixed: Taxi hack transmitter minigame initialization.

Next week's update will finish your interaction with Trix and expand some side activities in the game.

Hey, just letting you know that the save export/import in this build is busted - exporting to file at any point, then immediately importing from that file, causes the import to fail with the error message: "Save is missing required data, likely due to corruption. Aborting."

Thank you for reminding me. I actually haven't forgotten, but before I could complete my release to-do list, something urgent in my personal life came up and was stealing all my free time until now.

There are 4 buttons for working with local save files: Import / Export and then Load / Save Are you sure that you're using the Import button after exporting using the Export button and the Load button after saving locally with the Save button? Because if you mix and match them, then the error you've mentioned follows.

Okay yeah, I believe I tripped in exactly that way - using "Save" then "import", instead of "Save" then "Load". Thanks for the heads-up, and sorry about the false alarm. 😅

You should be able to find her when you visit the EroSphere bar on Saturday. There, you need to select "Two people in business attire by the window" in order to identify Sarah Chen and her boss, Roderick Hayes.
