What was broken

  • EroSphere bouncer exploit: Could enter without paying $500 if you didn't have enough money

  • Boyfriend's phone pickup blocked by random encounters at SynTech Tower

  • Resist AVA minigame background could get stuck on screen, blocking all interactions

  • Rent Compliance Specialist visit wouldn't trigger if story events skipped past the scheduled day

Hotfix download links:

The online version (playmindware.com) has already been updated.

I also keep receiving the following two bug reports:

"The phone password doesn't work."

  • SOLUTION: it's base64 encoded

"I can't hack the Department of Records page."

  • SOLUTION: visit BrainFry - there should be an option to look for Trix's records

If you're still stuck on any other bug, please send me a private message with your exported save file attached (upload it to pixeldrain or gofile or wherever you want).

There’s been a bug for several versions with the work on day 21 (Sunday): after work, you go straight home as usual, even though you’re supposed to walk Trix home — but the next day, Trix thanks you for walking her home anyway. The quest “Work weekend shift at BrainFry” also remains active. Then, if you don’t read Xavier’s message on day 27 (Saturday), you go to work again, just like you were supposed to on Sunday the 21st. Update: Although I just loaded my day 20 save again, and day 21 worked fine this time... Strange... Saves on 20, 21, 26 days https://mega.nz/folder/EEsWTT4B#p8BkJqGaX8DdSe3FLIo4XQ

I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to share your saves with me. Helps a lot! I've tested them and everything works fine on my end when running the latest version. I simplified many quest-triggering scripts in the last few releases so maybe that's what solved the problem.

Since this seems to be more active, can I ask a question? How does the 'Resist' minigame work? Like, in Chapter 1 with the initial thing (as in, the very first part of Chapter 1) it says that the character "failed to resist" but there was never an explanation for how what I presume is a minigame actually worked. Am I missing something really obvious? There's no explanation for how the minigame works, which is weird because most other minigames that I've run across explain themselves. E: Apologies if that's meant to be something you automatically fail, but if so it kinda doesn't make sense to say that you failed because it makes me think there's a way to not actually fail it? E2: No, there's a second one of those scenes, it's clearly meant to be something of a minigame, it just doesn't... explain how it works?

You mean the minigame that's sometimes triggered when you sleep? The first two times you encounter it, you really can't resist. When you get the Synapse Steady VX implant installed, you gain the ability to resist by clicking/tapping the hypno GIFs.
