🔧 MindWare 0.3.8 Public Hotfixes 2 + 3 (Patreon)

I've released two additional public hotfixes for version 0.3.8 since hotfix 1.

There is no new story content in these hotfixes. They focus on safer backups, smaller saves, accurate release notices, and more reliable online services. Details below.

Hotfix 2

Save/Load and Settings now explain how to download backup files to, hopefully, make it clearer how to keep important progress outside browser storage. Long-running saves are smaller because built-in dream, avatar, TV, and shower media are no longer copied into every history step, while active dreams and PeekStream special requests now keep only the compact information needed to resume. Older saves upgrade automatically when loaded.

Hotfix 2 also introduced the redesigned main-menu logo (more about it in a separate post soon) and corrected the update notice that briefly advertised an unfinished version, which was not available to download.

Hotfix 3

Hotfix 3 strengthens the online services behind supporter access and downloads:

  • Supporter sign-in and protected downloads now handle repeated requests more reliably.

  • Online services now reject unexpectedly large requests.

  • Cloud service checks now match the configured Worker runtime more closely.

Upcoming Content Release

The next content release is planned for early next week and will begin the next stage of the HiveClean latex-maid storyline.

You’ll be able to apply through HiveCleaning’s corporate recruitment portal, read its suspiciously dense terms and conditions, and complete a multi-part suitability assessment that becomes increasingly unconventional. Successful applicants will be invited to continue the process in person, which is where the real fun begins.

The HiveCleaning recruitment content update will be the last one in the series of Latex Maid content updates for some time, so other storylines get some much-needed attention.

Basically, yes. If you play from the beginning, there are set points in the main story where your femininity increases and your body changes. These are unavoidable if you want to keep progressing. By Chapter 3, every player will be in a feminine state (you’ll have choices about what form that femininity takes, but staying fully male won’t be an option - you will be able to keep your cock, though 😊).

Subjunctive Games

Androgynous is currently the furthest you can reach through the continuing main story, so restarting won’t change that yet. If you’d like to manually set yourself to Feminine-Leaning, make a save first, then open your browser console (F12 → Console, or Cmd+Option+J on Mac) and paste: SugarCube.State.variables.playerGender = 30; SugarCube.Wikifier.wikifyEval('<>'); Press Enter, then move to another passage to update the display. Values from 20–39 are Feminine-Leaning; 30 will keep your cock while giving you the more feminine body state. Future story events may overwrite the value.
