Liquid Nitrowave. Like a microwave but the opposite in that it cools down your stuff really friggin fast. Yeah ice would be faster but this is the future old man.

Anubis

Some sort of interactive 3D/4D model that is effected by sound allowing you to see the sounds you make in a physical object, not sure what the use of this could be but it would look pretty cool to see at shows and or to bring sound design into another way of thought.

Kaliba69

Noiseless Crisps. Everyone knows that crisps are the loudest thing ever while you're watching a movie or listening to music. What we need are crisps that doesn't interrupt your listening experience but still maintain their crunchiness.

Anubis

Like a visualiser but a physical thing maybe inside a cube. Unfortunately I’m not a scientist so I have no clue how this could possibly be made but it’s still an idea.

Owen

A midi controller that connects to your brainwaves so you could link them to a filter or whatever and it'll automate it while you listen to your track

Jordan H

A self-changing bed sheet We all need to change our sheets more-often. In fact, go do that now cuz you know you need to. This invention takes the pain away of figuring out which corner goes where, and for us corner-of-room-bedders, saves us doing that awkward knee-jump, forward-push thing and hitting our noggen on the wall.

ed kelly

Self care nano bots. Clean your teeth, keep your skin looking beautiful, helps to fight against germs, help regulate the body by monitoring our biochemical levels, and can help relieve tension at the source.

I suppose Neuralink exists, but since it's still in development and not capable of it yet - a device that can read information from your brain and transform it into digital data. If you think of a song or musical ideas they'll be quickly transcribed into midi/audio, if you picture a scene it'll be transformed into an image, and you can have your inner monologue instantly transcribed into text. Would be pretty useful I reckon

Vayre

On a more mundane note though, a machine that could instantly generate a spice/extract of specified taste/smell would be pretty sweet lol

L. Rodriguez

Drink coasters with wheels. Call them roller coasters.

Ian Vernon

Controllable / manageable fusion energy would be an absolute game changer for the world - imagine what we could power to make the world better / reverse the impact humanity has had on it!

Chris Kuester

Gravity based desalination process/machine. Anything to make water more accessible to places where it is scarce

Mazza

A microphone designed specifically to capture cats and cats purring

Mazza

Also sequencer track groups in reason loool

Interactive memory learning systems through ar/vr for - I’m learning max to build a program. Idea is ar/vr allows import of information to be aggregated by the user for memory techniques; visual, touch and haptic feedback enhance memory. This makes sure learning disabilities can be in the same class as students without. For the majority. Game changer in a school system. would make learning fun, kids get smarter, our world gets better. End goal of anything that doesn’t exist yet.

Payson

A hat that lets you control your DAW with your mind

Greg

Affordable beef jerky

Aura Vortex

A microwave, but for making things cold

Timon Wawreczko

Ear plugs which record and filters specific frequencies. For example there is this screaming baby, you press the record button on your ear plug to show the ear plug which frequencies to filter and after that you hear everything normal exept no baby-screaming at all. Other application example: - Voices of people on the table in the café next to you. - The sound of the paper pages when your beloved is reading next to you in your bed. - construction site next to your house. - knife and fork squeak on porcelain. Maybe jsut recording is not exactly enough, so you need an ear plug app for your phone and on the phone screen you see the frequency spectrum and delete certain areas like with Izotope Iris. Honestly, that sounds feasible. Please someone build this please.

Luke Perry

A dark light instead of a traditional torch that emits light it’s cancels out light. The same way that audio that’s out of phase cancels each other out you take the spectrum of light we can see and the spectrum of light we can’t see and try some method of light, phase cancellation resulting in darkness instead of light.

Lytex

An implant for your brain which can save everything you see/hear and you can delete stuff you don't want to remember anymore. Offline of course so nobody can access your brain

Marc Retina

Solar powered rocket booster

Koux

A neural capture device that can detect the sound in your head and use spectral synthesis to recreate it in a waveform. So think of a sound, and it gets recorded to your DAW. Quite literally, get the sound in your head. Could be utilized for many different instruments: Neuro Bass, Guitar Tone, Snare Drums, Piano Sounds, Pads, Etc. Just think of the sound you're trying to create and BOOM! The device captures the way it sounds in your head and creates the waveform.

Morph.

The be blunt, a device that translates my ideas into whatever medium I am working in (music, art etc) with 100% accuracy. Very frustrating to have an idea that is so cool, but not be able to translate it properly. Or worse, taking so long to translate the idea that you just forget the idea all together.

THORTZ

A music digging software for DJs for search and preparation. Includes music release feed, custom tag organisation like in Beatport. Smart playlists like in iTunes. Format compatibility like in Rekordbox (FLAC etc). API with Spotify to play and organise playlists on the go.

Puzzle

A school system that teaches you everyday things you REALLY NEED when you are grown such as insurance, how to behave with money, how to handle a Job. This would be one of the ebst inventions that could ever exist if you would ask me.

fwocl

A machine that creates inventions.

Pete Stephens

Iv always imagined a set of Item finding glasses, you tell the glasses what you are looking for then wherever this item is (keys, phone, usb drive, anything) it is highlighted in red wireframe similar to the old wallhacks in counterstrike. And like VR it is overlaid on real world so you can navigate towards the object and retrieve it. As long as you own it it will highlight the wireframe object for you to go and find. Still haven't worked out the ins and outs of the design so unfortunately this ideas a work in progress at the moment... 😂

Adam Polanik

A better sampler in Fl Studio

MrHelixx

NeuroDaw, Hook up like the matrix and anything you think is recorded into sound or image. The best of the best will have to be able to clear the mind, so what is recorded isn,t filled with the extra thoughts, noise, or "junk" and a clear sound or image is produced. Maybe even a whole song. Like how we use instruments to create music, the mind or your consciousness becomes the instrument.

Casey Kosley

A full on VR music festival game. With it a creation similar to a wearable subpac to get the live esque feel and have the audio function like game audio so when you get closer to the stage/further it will effect the loudness. Since its in vr and the user will have headphones on the audio should be 3d. Options for mics so you can talk to people around you. Game should be free but artists can create there shows on there and sell tixs for it and game creator just takes a % of that so they can make money on the creation. Allow other artists to create the clothing/cosmetics for free or for sale and so visual artists also can make some money from it as well. Most important thing though would be getting the audio correct and working with a manufacturer to create a wearable thing like subpac because I think if you had vr and good audio w/ sub you could create somethin cool

Puzzle

beer effervescent tablets would be dope hahaha

Matt Erickson

A shower that has two handles, one in temperature and the other in pressure. Also, a printer that isn't a complete jerk and uses less ink. And one more that would make traveling a lot easier: a universal language translator I can just put in my ear.

Lisquander

Smelling aids (like Hearing aids but for your nose.)

Blatwax

The Poothbrush by Oral-P; a toilet brush that looks exactly like a toothbrush, but it's huge. It also has companion cleaner that replaces conventional Duck bottles, but it's called Pooth Paste and looks exactly how you're imagining it right now. All hail the tube. Clean your peeth.

Nils Maes

Cheap carbon capture technology

Zsombor Deményi

A SMELLING MACHINE!! how come we still need dogs to find stuff by their smell? that would be billion dollar invention :D

koansound

George Marshall - this a great idea and it would be amazing if this could be designed and implemented. Congrats! Thanks for your ideas everyone... especially the light cancelling torch!

Tyler Bell

They're called shammy's. I was wondering what the hell those little towels the olympic divers were using and looked them up. They're basically super absorbent towels that dry completely when you wring them out.

Eputty

Oh yeah, the shamwow
