Finally just started watching your tutorials (have watched the very first neuro bass tutorial and this one) And am blown away by how straightforward yet thorough and well planned and inspiring they are. Thank you for making them! Can't wait to keep diving in.

Wow! 16 year old me would be beside himself watching this! These project files are true artefacts, so amazing that you're able to open them still. It's really quite humbling to hear you refer to these songs as 'simple'. Every detail feels so considered and well composed, these tracks just felt so ahead of anything else around at the time.

This is my favorite album. I always thought the melodies which were ALSO the basslines were just genius, cuz they're singable like a vocal melody but also feel super heavy and hard-hitting but only in a funk song with a swing feel. At the time I was pretty into dubstep and drum n bass and I'd never even considered any heavy EDM with a swing feel and this album was just so well-written and it gave you a little bit of everything. The heavy, the funky, the catchy, the emotional. It was great, and its crazy to see you guys used REASON to make it, I always thought Reason was not the best software but clearly I just wasn't using it to its full potential.

Daniel

Awesome, thanks so much for giving us this insight!! <3

Mazza

Fun video, the stereo imager HP trick is still the best built-in HP Reason has lol

Hexic

Sly Fox is a true classic! Awesome to grab the stems and see behind the scenes, and I really enjoyed hearing about your progression. Now that you pointed it out I can definitely see how Introvert was a step towards your future sound. Awesome stuff!

Lewis Carpenter

It'd be cool to see you guys use the reason rack vst plugin within Ableton to kinda combine the then with the now!

10:30 get reason rack plugin! it's fucking great, just put it in ableton and it will work for you

Koux

Glorious, is there any chance you guys would release the original bass sample used to create Introvert’s bass? It’s a fantastic example of early Koan, and being able to work with it in combination with the other techniques you’ve taught us would be awesome! Thanks!

SYNCHRO

edm holy grail right here
