I think they were referring to something else, telling her to summon something in using the Veilripper. Not sure how Mia will help, but that's probably what they are referring to.

And i really wonder.. From previous scenes with Mia and Alicia/Thorn we learn that whatever that "ritual" is called (Dreamers sigil iirc) - it needs 2 people. One would be controlling the other. Clara is that "other", her ex boyfriend Jon is the one that was supposed to be controlling her. So i wonder, now that Clara fixed his mind, will we see him again? Does he still have any controll over her (even though his tatoos were removed when Sam hit him)? Cant wait for more!

Same!!!....just started re-reading the first book. It’s a masterpiece ...the characters, the Lovecraftian touches, the breathtaking art (the ethereal glow of the Vigil members weapons, etc etc)!!! There are so many little wonderful aspects of this world that just come together so harmoniously.
