It's all one universe! Sunstone, Fine Print, Bloodstain, Punderword, even Death Vigil (we saw Ally and Lisa in Issue #1 at the restaurant, after all). Hoo boy, do the Cubi and Hades know about the Vigil? What a tangled web you weave! I'll bet Merryl plays a certain online fantasy game as well...

Not gonna lie, I'm hoping "bringer of my doom" is meant more in the "eternal destiny" sense than the "I'm fucked up beyond all repair by the end of this" sense. :) By the way, I'm really impressed with the depth of Lauren's issues. You captured her specific mental state very well. What amazes me most, though, is that I feel like you've written Lauren into a state where you'd need a genuine psychologist to analyze her character and identify what she'll do, and what will help her. How do you write a character with such deep psychological issues without having a degree in psychology yourself? Is it a matter of research, consultation, or just storytelling instinct?

I loved the scene where she asks for the veteran dommes and they reject her. Boundaries and health are so important and so many people don't understand that about our scene! A good dom will not take a sub when they are in that state. <3

Still (re-)reading, but I just noticed that on page 37 Lauren is still missing her glasses in the panel where she's sipping on her drink in the cafe...

The cross over is amazing, so crazy to see the Sunstone gang. But going back to the beginning we see Alecto choking Vain and Thaddeus as Lauren, who seems to have the wings of a Cupid and the tail of a succubus (but still wearing a shirt and skirt??) lays bleeding. We also learned the Alecto changed to Bauphette, yet Lauren is seeing Alecto. So, either there is some crazy timeline stuff going on or we will somehow come to see Bauphette go back to being Alecto/?

Seeing Lisa and Allie and the gang at The Crimson was so poignant. Talk about a contrast! The intersection of a story that's happy and full of friendship with Lauren at her darkest and lowest was such a smack in the face, but in a good way!
