so, i'm sure that by now you know that we're in the process of producing the official sunstone statue.

i know,   apparently miracles happen! XDbut a curious thing happened in the meanwhile. i decided to give zbrush another try after a long absence from the program and really caught the sculpting bug. so now i'm in the process of learning and improving with a bunch of work in progress sculpts. as  time goes these sculpts will be finished and i think i'll coming to learning how to prepare them for print.now, while this won't be very interesting to many of you at the moment, i figure as time passes, 3d printing technology will become more and more widely available. fingers crossed for 3d printing shops XD so my idea is that every now and then i'll drop in a printable character bust of one of my comic creations. this will be a kind of a  little bonus to my tiers. some will be available from tier 1 others at tier 6.they won't be put in place of the usual uploads but as a bit of a fun addon.  my little thank you for your support :)there will at some point be a full complicated sculpt tier on its own tho as some of these things are kind of an insane long term level projects and the quality will be reflected in that as wellalso in the previews... dom and dommer. or that time when i paid 50 dollars for a font  because i needed the joke to be perfect and  since i'll probably print this at some point, i figured may as well have the license XDalso in other news i'm planning on producing dustjacket covers for my hardcover books. yes, you will be able to pick up the  printable files here once they're done :)anyhow. off to take a short break cause tomorrow i gotta figure out if i can make fine print, sunstone and the queen and the woodborn updates all drop in may. fingers crossed!

Well I love that! Sign me up for the kinky makers tier.

I'm on the Patreons of several amazing sculptors, they might be able to help with learning how to prep stuff for printing. I will happily wait for STLs. Ive got a resin printer ready and waiting. And if the sculpt tier is more then I will continue shoveling money that way.

wow you really do have the sculpting bug, that is a lot of work! very nice work too! keeping having fun and sharing!! :)

Oh my gods I'm so excited!

biscuitsofdoom

My 3d printer is waiting. I don't know how well my ender3 pro will do them justice....or explaining to my son what I'm printing.

I'm not gonna lie, when I saw your zbrush sculpts I really *wanted* to note that I'd love to see printer-friendly releases of some of those, but it seemed a bit impertinent to just chime in with. I would absolutely go nuts for printable character busts. Heck, I'd gladly pay separately for something like printer-friendly Achilles Shieldmaidens mecha models.

The Silver Socialist

The latest render of the Ali and Lisa statue is MUCH better.

Seiren

WOOO! I've been hoping for printable files!

Raven Coldheart

Yay, something other than Warhammer minis and terrain for my 3D printers to print. 😄

madlycan

the way you paint and draw I think you never lost the sculping bug. <3

You need to get yourself a resin 3D printer, Stjepan. Those look awesome!

Coming Curse

The Death Vigil one is really impressive to me. The posture and facial expression absolutely work. Both Sunstone ones I find the facial expressions a little masklike or as if they had to stand in for pictures and didn't like the photographer. 😆

I have been 3D printing since 2004. I have just bought the Anycubic Photon M3 Max for exactly that purpose. I've continually said when your models are mentioned I'll print a sample so you doing actual models would be wonderful. This is an extra step but it helps printing. Separation and keying. Having splits are the "joints" with square based pyramids to align really helps put them together and print to larger sizes on smaller printers like I had previously.

Alice

I'm so obsessed with the death vigil one 🤩🤩🤩❤️

🤣 Funny translations: in Dutch 'Dom' means 'dumb' and 'Dommer' is 'dumber', so it fits the joke perfectly! 😆

The dragon brings back good memories of Ravine.

Sean

Wow! The sculpting is really coming along well!!

Jon F

I’m so excited for all of this

Glad to see this update, and there'll be many people interested in printable files I feel just a bit bummed out that most of these images appeared on fb first, weeks before this post...

Neraced

Those look amazing! And I absolutely love the idea of printables :-)

Classical Salamander

As for "fingers crossed for 3d printing shops XD"... the future is NOW! Many public library systems in larger American cities have public-use 3D printers, and "Maker's Shops" or similar are springing up all over with dedicated staff who know how to get a good clean print every time.

Fringe

I'm all in for kinky printing! I can't wait for the STL files.

Royce Ingram

SWEET!!!! A 3D printer is already top of my wish list to make replacement parts for vintage toys!!!! GREAT idea, sir!!!!!!

Royce Ingram

FWIW, the lip biting one is best IMHO….

Snarkysciurus

YESSSS! I have been waiting YEARS for a statue to come out!!!!!

Atalis14

Ok, readying for statue of Sam the Death-screammer of Metal !!! 😆 Oh ! And... What about "Switch" ? With laura in center and bigger than the others "mindgirls" who'll dwell on her shoulders/head and who'll be swaped in time of need-or because we wish so 😃?

Royce Ingram

THAT’LL DO NIIIIICELY!!!!!
