i promised to drop this and it took me a while cause i had outdated files, anyhow, this is not   a part of any of your subscription tier monthly stuff. it's just a bonusso... ravine.ravine was ma first attempt at writing and it shows. it was a fantasy series in which my ambitions outreached my writing skills to the point where even the help with the final rewrite by my at the time  writer on witchblade and friend, ron marz couldn't save the clunky pacing of volume 1it's actually surreal just how much better volume 2 got as i got a feeling for character writing you would later grow accustomed to with my current works. so consider these books as a fascinating look into my evolving writing skills. there was a truly epic fantasy tale here, but i buried it under a friggin dnd manual XDanyhow, enjoy. new sunstone update will be up in a few days, and then there's fine print and something delightfully spicy in the crimson after hours ;)

I loved Ravine! Any plans to revisit this series in the future?

Heng Ow

I loved the art and the story even more so. Ravine remains one of my favorites from your body of work. Truly hope that you get around to completing this incredible and original tale.

Twister

Yay, Ravine! More, please :)

Rixxy

Yes! Ravine!! Thank you :D

Ellhann

Thanks a lot !!! =)

Jenny

I loved the hot lore but I acknowledge that I am a gigantic nerd where rich universe lore is concerned. I hope we get to revisit the world some day!

Martin Rottler

I loved Ravine as well. Absolutely something that you should continue.

Temperjoke

...what if you turned Ravine into a d&d setting? >_>

Leo F

You mean you weren't always an amazing story-telling god? Selfishly, that makes me feel better about myself. :)

Erick Hernandez

God I loved Ravine, I was heartbroken I couldn't have more, definitely gonna read it again now though!

Ravine is a big part of the reason I'm here. Part 1, I could see a GLORIOUS Story trying to get out, so I waited for Part 2... Part 2, NOW we're getting somewhere. Take my money, give me MORE!!! Part 3, AAARRRGGGHHH...I can be patient.. So THEN what did you do? The Queen and the Woodborn!!! Again, Take my money, GIVE ME MORE. There are reasons I hang around this place...

Quixotic

Buddy I'm literally here just for the off chance enough patreon support revives this series.

TheBrainninja

I picked up Ravine before I was even a fan, I found the art so striking! Part of the reason I’m here is just in case you ever feel like revisiting it, I’m a firm believer that a person’s best work is only possible when they’re passionate about a project, so I can wait forever if need be. What’s the point of Patreon if not to enable creative weirdos to follow whatever flash of inspiration comes their way? The world is better for having your art in it, and I’m positively feasting on every random thing you draw. Keep it up man, I’m grateful just to be here.

Chris

I am on-board for more Ravine! It's a story that I really enjoy regardless of any claims of bad attempts at first writing. :)

After hearing you talk about Ravine I’m excited to jump in and read it! Thanks for sharing it 🙂

Ravine was actually how I found you in the first place! A local comic shop had thr second volume and I ended up picking up the first and then diving into Sunstone from there. I'd love a revisit someday in a story form or a redo of the comic or a rpg setting.

Nicole

If you ever decide to continue or re-write Ravine I will be here for it!

Dapper Woof

Your writing really did improve, and fast at that. I admit I bounced hard off the first few pages of Ravine, but even then it has some stunning art... maybe some of your best work. I need to give it another crack here.

Lynn's going to feel rather betrayed when she finally learns the truth of Stein, but he's in a terrible position regarding disclosure. He has no great options, but with Azriel's help, he's at least retained his humanity. This is actually the first time I'm seeing the majority of the second chapter. And now I'm actually interested in these characters--this chapter got me invested.

Christopher Knecht

Ravine felt like it had so much to explore. I still want to know more.

Dennis Sandoval

ravine was the comic that got me to follow your work

Terry Edwards

I've said it before, but have no problem repeating it: My patreon dollars flow to you on the hope Ravine will be revived, everything else is just a bonus (an amazing bonus). I understand the allure of current projects likely surpasses any desire to revisit past work you seem less-than-excited about, but the story, world, and characters are so great I'll continue as a patron with the hope one day the passion of Ravine is reignited in an inferno of new material. Oh, and many of us love D&D manuals.

epyon_avenger

Hilariously, I picked up Ravine and didn't connect the dots to it and Sunstone till much later. Still glad to have grabbed it though, and glad to have PDFs now. :)

Lisza

Damn... after getting through Vol 1's beginning, I've enjoyed myself thoroughly. Itching for more, then again - with all the projects you've got going on, which I'm also a fan of - probably better not to take on any more XD You do you, ofc - you know yourself best. Me, I'm just gonna wait with bated breath for Sunstone... and Death Vigil... and Fine Print. But yeah - Ravine was a cool look into how friggin amazing your worldbuilding gets - I kinda get why Death Vigil and Fine Print are the way they are now.

AlecMSYoung

Ravine was the first post Witchblade thing of yours I read and I'm glad I stuck around for all the good things to come.

Alysandir

I enjoyed Ravine thoroughly. I know that that the creator is often the worst critic but please know that I do hope to see this revisited some day.

Vairya1

I'm still carrying a torch for Ravine. Will we ever see that love story brought to fruition? Will we ever see Lynn learn Stein's secret (and vice-versa)? Will we ever find out what the hell Damanul looks like or what he really is?

Dan Storm

Ahh, Ravine. Good times.

Sean Carter

Ok.....where's the rest of it. Can't just leave me hangin' like that brah

AliceDuffield

Loved Ravine and would love it if you revisited it deeply. Pretty please??

Timon Ullherr

I love Ravine and I really hope we can have a part 3 one day, especially since 2 ended on such a cliffhanger. In another post you wrote, that raine 1 (and in part even nr2) failed because there was too much world building and too little story, which made me wonder, because I really loved it. But then I realised: "I'm a history buff." I mean real life world building is a hobby of mine. This is in no part representative of the average reader. (;・∀ ・) So, that was the day I realised exposition is entertainment to me^^ Really crossing my fingers for more!

Stone Cutter

I love Ravine as well. If it's getting a redo : LET"S DO THIS!!

Chris

Sunstone is what hooked me, but the chance for a Ravine volume 3 and on is why I'm on your Patreon. No need to reboot even, I loved the first two volumes and can't wait for what's next.

Regina S

I love this story! I am fascinated with your storytelling writing skills as well.. It is so captivating that I am almost ready to settle for just the written version of it, should you continue it, LOL I do enjoy it even more than the other ones. Fineprint is above the competition of course))) Please, GIVE US MORE !!!!
