Okay, now that we're getting a good look at her, I have to say; it was well worth making it this far to finally see her when she was covered in shadows. And she's cute as hell. Also makes me wonder... Was Leah contributing to the Boogie's hostile desire to assimilate Cassandra and Jingle, or were they acting out of paranoia of being harmed, instead of accepted? We've finally got some lore, I'm curious how Ozone will choose it to go on; since they admitted on Twitter months ago when asked about Boogie lore, they posted a "I dunno" meme of sorts.

so like a 3 year service, then you're free? Seems fair I guess. I assume an individual chooses themselves if they want to stay longer than that. I suppose that's pretty good! Still best to be cautious, though, since we don't really have any extra lives to spare.

Since the Boogies have a time limit on controlling a host, does the Boogies effects on their mind weaken over time, or does the collective decides “alright times up go home” and let them go free?

I have a feeling we're about to be met with a "allow yourself to become our new host and we'll let everyone else go" type situation...to which I'm not sure if I completely trust that, considering we already had a "do x and I'll do x" situation that turned out to be a trick.

so the boogies have a timelimit. if a person stays the three years and get out of the collective means sayed person can't get into the collective again forever or is the timelimit just resetet after a break?

It does weaken over time, which is why you sometimes end up with abnormals such as the examiner.
