Yeaaah, injecting a bunch of violent privateers into your amalgamate personality would result in paranoia and violent tendencies. Guess as long as they're left alone, the raiders'd eventually get ejected from the collective and that amalgamate would be 'cleaned up' a little. Granted, you have to wonder how much of that personality sticks around, even after the original mind it was pulled from is ejected...

Considering the three year time limit, all you really need to do is ensure nobody violent goes there. Joining in may not help balance things out. Cassandra's still one woman, she's not going to balance the scales against a whole team of privateers, and who knows who else is in there as well. Plus, it just fuels the need to assimilate more. She won't be there to see if the amalgamate decides it needs more people to balance itself out, then another imbalance strikes that can only be resolved with /more/ assimilations. It's a deadly spiral you enter there. It's best to leave it alone and let it subsist off single-digit assimilations, if only so it doesn't feel like it needs more, nor does it grow powerful enough to want more and know it can't be stopped.
