'You speak to Lily and agree on a plan.

Lily, her sister, and the other former beings stay and watch over the compound while you and Jingle return to agency headquarters for debriefing.  Contact with the compound is maintained via the hostless beings under your control.  You leave behind a standard agency communication device as well.

The agency is astounded upon your return.  Jingle corroborates for you that you entered into this form willingly.  The investigation into the abduction case is closed as all the missing individuals get accounted for.  The mission is considered a success.

After a short time you lead a new team mission returning to the compound to establish a successorship system.  The nickname you made for the beings, boogies, caught on and stuck.

Some of the former boogies remain at the compound to provide support and information about the facility.  Lily and her sister Leah went home but visit every now and then.  Above ground additions to the facility are added, displaying a presence to the outside.

From around the nation people of exceptional note and talent gather.  In little over a year a successor system is established and you return to being yourself well before your maximum limit.  In time the surrounding area develops and is named Boogie Town.  Though small in number, boogies' influence pours over the world.'

~You have completed the adventure and have received the good end.  There are no more parts.

Big thank you to all you agents.  You showed courage and wisdom in the face of many difficult decisions over this past year.  Your heroic deeds will not be soon forgotten.

And thank you to the boogie adventure editors and other contributors for teaming with me to make the adventure:

No1isHere

Thank you for bringing us on the Tale Mr Ozone

ArtAnimationFan

Good to see this all tied up. Just two questions: do we get to know/see the bad ending, and is there a good end bonus like the last CYOA?

Smokinggunz

Man I was hoping to see more good shots of our protagonist in her new boogie form

Alchemical Scientist

omw to boogietown where the boogies are big are the grass is also boogie

ozoneserpent

Not immediately but there will be special pics of Cassandra and the crew spread over the remainder of the year.

Nomad0177

Yeah!! Woohoo!! We effin did it!! Mission accomplished!!

Deantha

I hope the Boogies create a dance club called Boogie Boogie

J8-Bit

Congrats! Wonderful work!

Bababoey

Glad to see this story ended on a high note. It was pretty precarious, but what a good ending.

SilverFox5645

Whooo, victory! \o/ See, Boogie Police Force is a thing, yay!

Zack Taylor

While this was far from good for my anxiety I'm still glad I came along for the ride. Honestly not expecting something similar for some time as I'm sure it was a great undertaking, but I'll be here regardless.

That Fox

I'm glad most folks are happy with the ending but personally I'm a little bummed such a mysterious, dangerous force got put under control so easily. Though I am one of those people who wanted the bad ending 😏

Ryan Drakel

That was a helluva campaign.... though I'm still holding a grudge for that one game-over where practically everyone voted for Cassandra to strip. *frakking neuron activation-monkeys*

MrToastsandwich

Now that the adventure and role playing is over, there’s a few things that I would like to talk about regarding the adventure itself. There are some areas of improvement that I believe should be considered in the future. Please bear with me for this might get long and that these are merely my opinions and suggestions. 1. The game overs felt too frequent. When we first started this adventure, I thought to myself: “Seven lives? Wow, that’s generous!” Well, those seven lives didn’t last very long did they? Let’s face it, if it weren’t for the extra lives we gained along the way - we might not even have made it halfway there. All because of the game overs being a constant threat in pretty much every decision. As a gamer, I believe that players should be allowed to make mistakes and not get punished for every wrong move they make. What I’m trying to say is, TONE DOWN ON THE GAME OVERS. Now, I’m not saying get rid of them entirely. Maybe we could get hit by a game over every second to third bad decisions we make. Maybe one bad decision could put us in a “danger zone” (which is indicated by a warning triangle or something) where the character is in real danger. If we were to make one more bad decision, THEN we could get hit by a game over. That way, we would not only be aware that we might lose a life if we’re not careful here, it would also allow us to make a few mistakes without being punished for it. 2. Some sections felt frustrating and pointless. Now, this could just be me being salty. But when I look back at the sections where we had to wait on the boogie to get closer to us. I felt that those parts could have been taken out of the adventure entirely and it wouldn’t have changed the story that much. Think about it, the room where we first found Leah might as well have been right next to the elevator right away without the long hallway. Same thing when we played as Jingle waiting on the big guy boogie. I personally believe those parts were the most frustrating parts of this adventure. Not just because we lost so many lives during those, but also because I believe they weren’t really necessary. PLEASE, Ozone, do NOT bring back scenarios where we have to wait on the threat to come to us! We just can’t do timing puzzles like these. 3. This should have been a single player experience. I have brought this up a couple of times now, but I do believe these adventures should be a single player experience. So many times during this adventure, I’ve felt that the player base were far too divided to come to reasonable agreements. The strip game over is a perfect example of this… Now, I realize that making these single player might be a lot of work. But if you put time into it, Ozone. I believe you could really have some great potential visual novel games on your hands here. This would be amazing, because this way the bad end huggers can have ALL the game overs they want and the people who wants to take the adventure seriously can do that in peace. If you would decide to give it a try, Ozone, I would be all for giving you all the time you need to do so. Like I’ve said before, customers will wait for quality. That’s all. I apologize if this got really long. Remember, these are just my opinions and suggestions for what could make these adventures even better in the future. Feel free to disagree with me. I would also take this opportunity to thank you, Ozoneserpent, for this experience. You’re a fantastic artist and I’ve really enjoyed your art. I hope to see even more great things from you in the future. :) Thank you for reading. ❤️🐺

'I'm a little bummed such a mysterious, dangerous force got put under control so easily' For now.

GreenScale Mansion Fund

We did it! we succeeded! o v o yipppyy! good quality ending with a lot of fun to be had, and ending with zero lives is always the best way to do it! Fhehe, glad to be one of the many individuals giving votes, and occasional words of advice! Drinks all around!

That Fox

😶‍🌫️

ozoneserpent

Without going into too much detail, if what I have in mind passes through the trials phase the next adventure will have a fundamentally different system that addresses those criticisms elegantly. Making one of these into a single player visual novel is a whole another matter. I'll be working on things in the background to possibly make that a possibility one day.

MrToastsandwich

Well, regardless of what you decide to do. You have a supporter in me. Again, thank you for the experience. It was fun. ✌️🐺

Crevan Prowler

Awesome! We did it everyone! And what a happy ending indeed.

No1isHere

Mr Ozone, we made it too the end. We held our end of the bargain, so I expect you to hold up yours of showing use all the potential Game Overs in the coming future~

Lucky Rose

Nice to see it ended on a high note, Though I would totally join the Boogie Police Force sounds like fun.

kirikoss

damn so its good end afterall welp guess we wont know what would the bad end look like

Vananari

Careful not to burn yourself out!

Grimdarkguardian

This is wonderful, its been a helluva journey^^

Da Dreadman

Mission Complete, Well Done agents. With the Boogies calmed we hope the future for Us the Boogies will be a promising one. Jazzy, out.

Killer Steel

Though I was late to join the adventure, I'm glad I was here to contribute to the ending at least. Looking forward to what the team produces next! I should also ask, considering what you built here, have you considered making a video game? I think your handling of environment design and maps is pretty dang solid. It would take a larger team to pull off, certainly, but I could see this becoming something akin to what Corruption of Champions or TiTS pulled off. I know I'd certainly play it!

Killer Steel

Actually, yeah, a single player adventure was what I had in mind when I posted my other comment. A Corruption of Champions/TiTS-esque text adventure would suit this perfectly, I'd think.

FiraFawkes

Woo hoo!!! Congrats everyone, we did it!! Hugs all around! <3

FiraFawkes

Ozone, just wanna say: love your artwork and it has been a wonderful adventure. Thank you for all you do and this was a lovely experience! ^v^

No1isHere

Yea please don’t do dat

ozoneserpent

Very well, I'll take it easy for the rest of the week.

ozoneserpent

That's where I'll go if the pieces come together. But there's still more to show with this format.

Nightspark43

I do hope we'll be able to see a few of the GOs we missed as time goes on, and maybe even see what the Game Over ending would have been eventually. Wouldn't mind giving a bit more to see that one.

a b

Can we has more bad ends plz?

Taerjaga

"Boogie Town" sounds like a disco album. Will there be "Boogie Night" social events, or possibly road trips to go trade with Funky Town? ;)

Erise

Would love to see the bad end and some of the ones we never got caught by, like camera boogie ^^

Fatal

Finally the good ending!

Mori

Could we just say that the following successors are every patron

LimeMaide

amazing! this was a lot of fun! congrats on finishing this amazing adventure up! i definitely look forward to the remaining bad ends that'll come up later, and to all the fun stuff ur ganna do in the future!

Nomad0177

I agree, at some point making a single player experience could spice things up from the usual format, Another way is maybe having a B team working on kind of like a side story visual novel and still have the usual team working on this format for the main plot, but that would mean a lot more work in the long run. (The B in B team stands for boogie btw.)

Arianna Altomare

If you do ever need coding help from one Tech-tias to another, always happy to help in the future. Was a fun ride!

ozoneserpent

I'll keep on my 'exceptional talents' list.

Arianna Altomare

Just be warned that the last game dev thing I worked on before running to be a cybersecurity lead was networking for the Wii U, so do with that hilarious/sad fun fact what you will.

Killer Steel

Absolutely, and everything you do in refining this format will only help with future projects in other mediums. Wish you all the luck in the world with production of the next story, and very much looking forward to it :D.

Alicia McDuffie

This was a lot of fun! Would love to see alternate endings sometime in the future! A good ending is good, but a bad ending will always be my favorite! Can't wait to see what more you do!~

pokelolo99

I see tiny jester in the window; hope one day you’ll draw her again

Mori

To think I joined relatively towards the beginning, a whole damn year ago

YoBoySarge

It just occurred to me that this all happened in an underground facility and not a space station

ozoneserpent

Indeed. You went down floor by floor like you would a dungeon.

ThrowawayGoggles

Oh my gosh this was amazing.~ And with such a satisfactory end, too! It really was a happy ending for everybody. I *love* that there is a Boogie Town now; for them to live freely and have their own lives (and, possibly for people to get willingly assimilated! I mean, I would. I kinda like to imagine it feels good.)! Gosh, you are wonderful, Ozone! I'm so glad I finally got to read this story. Thank you for writing it, illustrating it; thank you to all your team who helped you. I might not have gotten the chance to participate in this adventure while it was active, but I sure had a good time reading it. Thank you so much for this opportunity; and may the Boogies live on!!
