I swear my grandma and mother was the same way as rochelle. 😂 Like i was a picky eater as a kid and my grandma especially was notorious in the household who would, no joke and no exaggeration, literally make us grandkids sit at the table until we ate all the food on our plate. I remember one time she checked up on my sister once to see if she finished her veggies. And it was still on the plate. My grandma heated up the plate and made her still sit there until they were gone. Mind you, we had dinner at 7pm that night and it was like 4am by the time the plate was finally cleared. My sister was 6yrs old at the time. We learned the hard way that there was no such thing as a picky eater in our household. 😂

My mom would do the same thing with black eye peas. Very hard stern woman. I would be in the dark at the table at 2:00 something. She would give in but put them in the microwave for tomorrow🫣🤣
