Mines will always be season 1 always man but but yeah sometimes it feels like I remember

Well Hello Silly

I feel kinda the same personally (M@ here) and I think the reason I like Season 1 so much, was because I was just so SHOCKED with the unexpected language and to me, that's hilarious! 😅-M@

I've heard about this show for years and just decided to watch it right around the time I discovered you guy's channel. I agree that season 1 was the best. 2 & 3 are tied for me and 4th was last, because there was a slight change in comedy and the message it would give. Also, the animation was a little different and noticable to me lol. That "New Black" episode alone looked "off", animation wise lol.

Dre Day

That was a rapper named Ace Hood whose watch fell apart on live TV and every jeweler chimed in saying his watch was fake lol.

Dre Day

Also, since this started as a comic strip by Aaron McGruder, you can really tell the difference once season 4 started.. his style was sorely missed..

YES! Thank you Fred for letting us know it was you. This really was a valuable watch. Thanks again Fred and thanks for the other link. Have a great Sunday 😁🙏-M@ & Ash

This retrospective was on point! The Boondocks is definitely one of the most unique, relatable, and fun shows to watch. I used to put the DVD's on to fall asleep. I'll admit, Season 4 always seemed a little off to me, kind of like watching Season 3 of The Chappelle Show; the cast is there, but the spirit is gone. When it comes to favorite seasons, it's hard to pick between Seasons 1 and 2. I'd say Season 2 is slightly better, then 1, 3, and 4.

I actually sent you acouple links about some behind the scenes of the boondocks. Do you guys watch the vids on YouTube or want the video sent to you as a video?

Deji Oriola

He does retrospeecctive videos for all of the seasons ,so if you like you can react to those to. Secondly You can also react to the references via the link I sent you.

TBK

Great reaction! Hmm, my rankings… 3, 2, 1, 4. I think season 1 is the most consistent, but seasons 2 and 3 have my favorite episodes of the holy series! Like my top 10 episodes mainly come from those two seasons. Season 4 isn’t completely trash or unwatchable, but the downgrade is very noticeable. I feel like the Kardashian and Siri episodes were stuff you’d see in Family Guy. Not what I expect from the Boondocks. I enjoyed watching every episode again with you guys. It was a fun ride. Maybe you can do a final review yourselves to close off the series. Regardless, I’m excited for what’s next!

Well Hello Silly

Everything you said was spot on! I especially agree with the similarities of the Siri/Family guy comparison. It DID feel like that. Kinda cheaply done and quick wrap ups I didn't care for either. Seems like the last episode, they did what a lot of writers seem to do at the end. Just throw some darts at an idea board and make a "story" out of it... 🤦‍♂️ We're excited for whatever is next too! We try and post here a least a couple times a week, same with YT, but a LOT of suggestions that we get, are from shows that still have big copywrites that are protected, hence why we had to come over here. Because WE bring our own viewers, there's a little more leeway with our longer style format. Thanks for kicking it with us and the interactions 😁🙏-M@

Links via email are always the best so we can organize a bit, HOWEVER... Wow is it difficult keeping up with who sent what, what to watch next, what platform its going to be published on, thumbnails and SCHEDULING. Our schedule is the worst because we have to wait for our two boys to go to bed and by that time, it's 1am and we've only watched and edited 2-3 vids. Hard to keep up, but we wanna make everyone happy, so we really do appreciate ya A T M Ń and thanks for everything🙏👍-M@

Thanks for watching this with us too Corey! It was pretty sport on and def made us think a bit differently on certain matters that we simply never thought of or knew about🤦‍♂️ This whole experience has been and still is so much fun for us and the biggest reason, is because of YOU guys! Stay tuned for more of whatever we got comin soon! 😁🙏-M@

Appreciate y’all too and I was trying to sound like @ how come you didn’t react to what I sent” if it came off that way. I know you guys have a life and everything and I always look forward to the uploads. 🫶🏽

Y’all missed the stinkmeanor episode in season 4

Well Hello Silly

Say what!? Whats the name/number of the episode? Thanks and we'll definitely do it if need be! We miss the Boondocks, but loving Black Dynamite! 😅😂 Thanks for joining us over here John! 😁-M@

Corey Reese

one thing i noticed is at the end of seasons 1-3 you reminded how we were constantly getting introduced to new characters. Did we get any new characters in S4?
