OMG, that explains the popcorn. Lol! This movie has been stuck in my mind for weeks now! I'm completely obsessed and I love how it is so relatable to Kpop stans. Also the music is FIRE!!! 🔥

Which song is your favorite Laurel?! I think Golden is mine! ❤️

Also like to mention that Jinu has my entire soul and I'm not upset about it! Lol! 😂

I'm so happy you got to watch this, and you didn't get spoiled to anything! And I absolutely agree, it's giving us amazing representation to people who aren't into kpop when all they probably knew was like the bad stuff you see on Twitter. I'm so glad this movie came out and is such a huge success!! Also the voice cast is stellar, the music BANGS, and you can really see all the love that was put into making it. My favourite part is, as a kpoppie, you can kind of tell what irl groups inspired the in-movie groups and their songs, and apparently there was so many that they used for inspiration! That's how you know the people at Sony who made this knew what they were doing.

This movie did such a good job capturing vey aspect of K-Pop. The MVs, the fans, the dances! The music is AMAZING. I've sang through the soundtrack like 10 times already. I'm so obsessed. I knew you would love this movie and that you'd 100% identify as Zoey.

The singing voice for Rumi is EJAE who is a really well known songwriter and producer in the Kpop industry. She has made songs for Twice, Red Velvet, aespa, Le Sserafim, and Nmixx. I believe Takedown was the only song that Twice got involved with plus Strategy also being in the movie. So proud of Twice too!! I love their music! ❤️

I love all the callouts and notable influences from kpop groups. It’s a meme at this point that the Saja Boys are like Ateez, SKZ, EXO, BTS etc. but it’s universally agreed that Abby is San 🤣 I want to know what everyone’s fav song is! My favorite is What it Sounds Like. Instant goosebumps every time I listen 💕💕
