I’m sorry for the sudden drop in updates. My mind is in turmoil because of my mother’s illness—it all came so suddenly. Right now I can hardly sleep and have almost no appetite. I’ll try to keep going as best I can, at least until my spirit completely breaks.

The results of my mother’s tests showed that she has lung cancer. When I heard the diagnosis from the doctor, I didn’t feel anything. It should have been painful and sad, but I couldn’t even cry. It’s like my heart has completely shut down.
