One Kiss Is All It Takes - Part 9/9

When you’re already out but you’re forced to hide, that’s one of the worst feelings. 😣

😭😭😭

Aiden

Oof, my heart aches for both of them 😞

Bestie max

Fuck he has a right to be mad but also this is a very sticky situation

Daddy Ray does NOT look happy, and I don't blame him. I always hope for a happy resolution, but it might be a while. Coming out feelings run deep.

baramakernm

I hate how these end then they start on a different story I like when arcs have a resolution to them I feel like Clyde will break up with ray which good live tht cowards life let Ray be free.

Gary Richard

Oh hell to f***ing no!!! Ray's a better man than me, because I would have not only cursed all their self-righteous, entitled, bigoted asses out, but I would have told Clyde's sorry ass to lose my number, don't talk to me unless it's scripted on set, and stay out of my life, you sad excuse of a person! But seriously this needs to be the wake-up call Ray needs to end this foolishness and get on with his life, because Clyde isn't worth the pain and stress.

Kendricx Anderson

And THIS is why I don't date closeted dudes. Not worth the secrecy, the high maintenance, the humiliation, the neglect, etc. I respect their right to come out when they want & the reasons why they haven't yet, but that does NOT mean I'm willing to put myself through the misery of being with someone who can't be authentic - not when I've worked so hard to fully embrace myself. Walk away & don't look back, Ray. He's not ready for you yet.

Reivax[LEGO] Nagol

I hope Clyde finds people who support him as a whole person and not the image that they want him to be. And I feel bad for Ray for having to be put through stupid shit like this becausebecause he cared about someone.

Uly A O

The situation is definitely not ideal and I am happy Ray is walking away. What Clyde did is not okay under any circumstance. Just beyond disrespectful. Ray has all my love as he is definitely going through it with someone he trusted and possibly loved, but that is the risk when choosing to be in this relationship. I just expected more of Ray as someone who has more experience living and dating as a gay man, granted love is a blind spot for many, to have not put himself in this situation in the first place. And yes there is big difference between being a secret and being told your relationship is “mistake/nothing really” in front of you. But that’s the risk he put himself in. Clyde is a definitely a mess who is not ready to be in any relationship until he figures himself out tbh, and either moves on without his family as they don’t seem to be supportive type or picks a different career which either difficult.

Clyde never deserved Ray at all. Period. If this were a sitcom, Beyonce's To The Left would have been playing as Ray walked out that room.

Also I hope they break up because in my opinion ray and Clyde didn’t feel like a couple like ray was totally into Clyde but I got the feeling tht clyde doesn’t have the same feelings for ray I just think he didn’t want to be alone. I feel tht line about it being nothing more was a little too real

Kendricx, you stated this perfectly! Clyde is not ready for Ray, as yet. He may never be if he does not grow a pair of balls and confront his controlling family. They are only in his life for what they can take from it for themselves! I can only imagine what percentage of his wealth, they are getting and how much is going to their “church”! 😡😱 If something doesn’t happen in the next few moments, Clyde’s family will forever keep him locked up in that closet with a life long padlock! MOTHER FUCKERS!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Theo

Sooooo many things going on with this arc!! Right now, no one knows what Ray had to face when coming out as gay (or whatever he identifies as). I can only imagine what is burning in his mind right now. This story isn’t over, as yet. It is also echoing Kazan and Koran’s issue. Everyone has their own pathway to travel on this subject. What will forever bother me is why the LGBTQ+ folk, HAVE to deal with any type of “coming out”! Straight folk never worry about dealing with their sexuality or being confronted with it! SHM 😤😮‍💨

Theo

And, that fucking smug face on that bitch in the second panel is perfect for her! But, it needs to be slapped into the fucking past along with her attitude! Great job in creating a character we can ALL agree to hate! Or maybe we need to use their religious and self righteous quote, “Love the sinner! Hate the sin!”

Theo

I’m stepping down from my soapbox now! Will someone grab my arm and ass to help my old ass down? And, can you also give my ass a little squeeze to make me feel appreciated? 😜😘😍

mw murray

everyone is really judging Clyde, but who knows his entire story. I'd be interested in seeing why he's so hard-core closeted. I think he and Rory had a lil thing...

JCalamy

Poor ray.

Tia Solita

I hope we get a happy ending. Both kinds ❤️

I disagree it’s miming Kazan and Koran issues because this one more career based and the other is more personal plus kazem came out no problem

Jeremy Craig

I feel for Clyde but he's got some stuff to work through; it's a journey that he has to take for himself. I wouldn't blame Ray if he wants to step back either ESPECIALLY because Clyde had said something hurtful - even if it wasn't intended to be cutting and was a panicked defense in the face of a bigoted family. Time and space are the best thing right now, probably. Also, someone needs to read the mother for filth six ways until Sunday.

Theo

Oh, I agree with you! My comparison was to the fact that Kazan wasn’t ready at the time to be out and comfortably open regarding their relationship. This arc is more traumatic for everyone in the story and it is much more intense!

Ozraga

I hope Ray can talk some sense into Clyde

Gene

Rooting for them to work it out.
