Hey folks. Just wanted to give you a quick thank you - with Ethan joining us, we're come more than half to our first Patreon goal, and I wanted to give you a quick status update.

Writing-wise, things are going pretty damn well. I've recently been introduced to 4thewords, an online "writing game" that does a HELL of a job increasing productivity. I'm writing two to three times faster these days, and it feels good. Next chapter will still be a week or so, probably days, but that's because I want to release it along with the chapter after - otherwise I believe the reading experience will be worse. :-) All in all, the two chapters will be around 12K words, I believe - 10% of my last book.

You have probably seen that for the first goal, I am planning to spend the money on art for the World of Chains - and, well, I just love what my artist is doing so much, I can't wait. He's right now in the middle of the cover for book 2 (which is looking incredible do far) and when he's done, I'm discussing what I should ask him to do. And for that, I'd love some imput!

My current idea is to ask for sketches of the people we know the best from The Wayward Bard, and use them to form a bestiary - use Gillem for the gnomes, Naevys for the elves, and so forth. This would of course be made available to you guys, but would also be added to the paperback at some point.

Please, have at me with any ideas or preferences for what (or who) he should be creating! :-)

I like the idea! One small thing though - might be better to refer to it as an encyclopedia or something, since bestiary has more of the connotation of being about beasts. Especially with the book's emphasis that these are (non-human) people with their own thoughts and emotions and such.

How bout a picture of his violin? Simple but elegant.

Actually, I've been thinking about having a banner created here for Patreon. Something relatively simple, the 🎻 in between chains or something along that line. Hmm...
