Huzzah for the weekly update (Patreon)

Still plugging away on book 3. Progress is steady and good! 16.500 words this week - that's 1/8th of what The Wayward Bard was. Book 3 is going to be pretty big. :-)

I had my first day where I didn't meet the daily goal, but managed to make up for it the day after - and even found time to start in on Brandon Sanderson's online class on creative writing. That man... is a god! <3

I expect around 4 weeks of writing for book 3 still and then maybe 4 weeks for the beta phase and editing. With time, that part's going to go faster, definitely, but until I have everything in system, 4 weeks is probably the most realistic I can come up with.

In other news? Audible are aiming for a new record in tardiness. 30 days now since Soundbooth Theatre sent the files for The Fallen Bard to Audible - still nothing. Ah well - they sometimes add a lot of new books on mondays - we'll see!  :-)

What're you enjoying these days? Any new games, books? My newest book at this moment is World of Stairs - pretty damn well-written dark fantasy in a world where the gods have been killed. Written in present tense, though - that took soom getting used to! :D
