Well, look at JoCat. Harassed off the internet because he said he liked girls. But it was not the desire for women which angered people, it was admiring their traits and being willing to love them. Desire is quantifiable in surveys, marketable in predictable ways. Falling in love, on the other hand, is called that because you cannot help it, it just happens. You can be convinced you want a chicken nuggie, but you cannot be convinced that you are in love Wanting a nuggie, or wanting booba, is not a threat. That is a desire, accountable and accounted for - predictable, staid, tired. Wanting someone to spend ten minutes arguing over the last nuggie with?
