It's Switch 2's world and we're just living in it. PlayStation also had a State of Play yesterday and we'll be discussing that.

Send in your thoughts, questions, or topics you'd be interested in us discussing! We won't have time to read and discuss everything, and please keep posts topical, safe for work and not huge walls of text.Submissions close at 6 PM CT on Thursday, June 5th.

What lessons will the industry learn from Clair Obscura wrong anwsers only and are QTEs cool again?

Far Too Many Frogs

As I did with the initial switch, if I get it, I'm waiting on any QC issues to be resolved. The reports of dead pixels already has me looking at it like "yeah, This was expected."

Inverse Skies

Console launches have previously been judged by the strength/breadth of their software at launch, how do you feel the switch 2 fairs relative to other console launches?

Lil' Cass (CJ)

Everybody is playing the Switch 2, it's so much fun😄💖

BlueTeamKS087

Excited to get a chance to play Final Fantasy Tactics. I love turn based tactics games like XCOM & Fire Emblem, and Tactics has been a blindspot. Haven’t gotten a Switch 2 yet, but what are some forthcoming Switch 2 games you are excited about or interested in?

Jason Ferro

Do you think there will be another Nintendo Direct soon? There have been rumors and I can see arguments for and against the validity of those.

Andy Curtis

Donkey Kong dabbing as a race celebration proves Nintendo will always be 10 years behind the internet

Simon Lane's Luscious Toesies

Hey fellas, the question i have about the Switch 2 is: if this came out with modern high end pc graphics, would Nintendo have any reason to make a new console ever? Usually Nintendo pushes to innovate and add some quirky fun to their consoles but the Switch 2 seems to just be Switch but stronger. Perhaps limiting the power ensures that in a few years the need for even better graphics will result in the slightly mote powerful Switch 3 or maybe that's just my inner Yahtzee talking. P.s. KC we did it, FF Tactics Remaster

What is something unnanounced that you're hoping comes out?

KingRaptor28

Union of Gnomes went 1.0 recently. Any chance Jack will play it again? Love the presentation and the challenge.

Topic for discussion: Switch 2 Vs the various PC handhelds like the Steam Deck and Rog Ally. Would you say that having a more powerful switch on the market makes them less relevant, or do you think they occupy different niches?

Samantha Yost

The Steam Deck and Switch 2 specs aren't too different; just release the Nintendo library on Steam, you cowards! (Waits until the heat death of the universe)

Ryan Betts

Tell me where in the heck I can find a Switch 2

Charles Reimer

Just want to say that this SoP was probably Sony's best. They are usually full of games that look completely unidentifiable and flavorless. For once I actually enjoyed watching the SoP, and I say that despite not actually being interested personally in any of the games outside of maybe giving FFT another chance.

With the launch of the Switch 2, do you think Microsoft and Sony will start winding down this generation of hardware in preparation for a new one. It really feels like neither console family has really hit their stride yet this generation.

Noah

Just finished watching the State of Play and I think Tides of Tomorrow is the main game I’m keeping an eye on because of the fantastic Road 96. What game sparked something for you during the State of Play?

Ryallen

Tbf the wrong answer would be that the turn based genre isn't dead and can be profitable. They'd most likely takeaway that realistic graphics really are the future and just double down on improving them

Brian Hughes

Thoughts on Summer Game Fest? With these two news stories generating so much buzz, what is Geoff Keighley going to pull out of his hat next?

Brewbrarian

Just had my Switch 2 arrive in the last hour. Excited to play it! I think this is the first time ever I've been in a position to buy a console and play it on the first day of its release. With that in mind: I want to ask you all about your favourite memories of a gaming console you got? What games did you get with it? Cheers!

Blackmage

Thanks for all the great content and recommendations guys. Supposedly the Switch 2 is 8 to 10 times more powerful than the Switch 1. Other than better graphics or more particles, what would you like to see happen or think is possible in the future. Nintendo is my only AAA hope for innovation in gameplay (even if sometimes that's just them taking a bit LABO all over the floor) or do you think they're going to be more conservative given the current environment?

What Switch 2 games are you guys going to play first? A new one or an re-release?

Angelnickl

Will NightReign's performance effect the Switch 2's exclusive From soft? I expect people will be more hesitant even if they do already have a Switch 2. I still plan to get it, even if NightReign wasn't for me and this one will be similar in concept.

TooManySpreadsheets

Will Second Wind do streams for the smaller showcases this weekend after SGF? Any specific games, teams, or showcases you're especially looking forward to?

jombilywobbily

How many units do you guys think this Switch will sell in the long run in comparison with the original? Yes, I do realize Firelink already happened, but I’m hopeful that Marty’s tinfoil hat will receive this backwards in time ready for the pod. That’s how it works, no?
