It's been so long I stopped bein remotely excited for Silksong. Like...first game is great one of my favorite Metroidios, but what am I supposed to be STILL excited about at this point? They haven't even shown anything new yet.

I followed Marty's rec for Takopi's Original Sin and was amazed at how the anime has pulled zero punches. Wow! I'm having to balance watching it with a cozy game session (currently Minami Lane). I echo the sentiment of Nick and Marty from the ONL stream about the type of games showcased - let's hope Gee-off doesn't price the ad slots and himself into E3 oblivion.

Sad I'll be missing this one and all the silkposting goofs! Still isn't real until it's released ;) What are the right and wrong lessons we'll learn as an audience from this long, news-less road to release for Silksong? What right and wrong lessons will AAA devs and indie devs learn?

Any tips for someone who has tried Hollow Knight a few times and always seems to fall off? It's absolutely gorgeous and my kind of game but it beats the tar out of me. I'll be running it back again after work today in hopes I finally break through.

With Hollow Knight saga presumably now complete what would you like to see Team Cherry make next? Also very glad that Microsoft never bought out Team Cherry, we probably would have never seen Silksong if that had happened.

In the ongoing Switch 2 card key fiasco, Gung Ho just announced a Switch 2 version of the Trails in the Sky remake but digital only with a $1 upgrade for Switch 1 owners (where the game can be purchased physical with full game on cart). Until variable cart sizes are available, how does this feel as a temp solution to card keys?
