Yahtzee explaining cricket while eating cucumber sandwiches and swilling tea would be hilarious.

Izzy Killeen

I would like to point out that cricket is substantially more entertaining when you watch real humans do it rather than a crappy video game 😅 And yes, this was a *dramatically* shortened version of the game, where you play only 5 overs (30 balls, as an over is 6 legal deliveries) per innings. Nobody in the real world plays cricket like this, because it would be very boring. The shortest version of the game worth watching is Twenty20, where you play *20* overs (120 balls) per innings, and it lasts about three hours. This would be the ideal version to begin with, because you can watch an entire game of it in one sitting. There's also a version ("one-day internationals") where each innings has 50 overs (300 balls), which takes like eight or nine hours; and then Test cricket, which lasts for up to five days, and requires a complete mindset change to really engage with. As a next suggestion, you should try rugby union and rugby league (those are two very different sports, despite their names) next. There is a recent-ish video game for both of them iirc, and they're both crap lmao.

As a cricket fan, this killed me 🤣 sometimes listening to the radio commentators at a game is the best bit, with their calm tones and funny anecdotes, and this just felt so wrong 😂 also I’m curious if someone played this to record the footage, and how you got the second wind advertising on the stadium?

matticus40

The banner ads all being SW series is just too perfect haha

Tom

Oh my god I laughed non-stop at his commentary. After he called out the areola I just lost it. Every time I watch any hockey that comment will be burned in my mind.

Jason Lotito

"Boom charcuterie." Gonna find a place to use that.

Kael Duranus

I love these videos. I firmly believe that there should be at least one commentator at every sporting event who doesn't have any idea how the sport works, just for the humor value. Keep at it Jesse, I am sure whatever sport you pick next will be funny as well.

CedricTheOwl

0/10, not even one comparison of the umpire's hat to Kung Lao. (In all seriousness, these are great. Keep up the good work, Jesse)

Peter James

Should be the next lore episode, written by the man himself.

Lil' Cass (CJ)

I didn't notice that at first but when I did I was like "What?" like Jess in one of the Second Wind community discord server stickers😅

Lil' Cass (CJ)

I also literally don't know anything about cricket too Jesse, so I'm just as clueless as you were throughout the video

Robert Meyer

Oh sweet there’s going to be a football one too based on the credit commentary! Thanks Nick for listening to my suggestion from that content form you sent out last year

Travis Cushing

That was fucking hilarious, I literally laughed out loud the entire time. Going back to watch the others right now. Amazing, totally want so much more of this.

Cameron Gore

"Boom charcuterie" gets me everytime!

Pēteris Krišjānis

This has strong "Judge by cover" vibes from Yahtzee, please make it regular Patreon exclusive 😅

Kevin Wolfe

"Boom Charcuterie!" Best line of 2026 hands down.

toktok_woktok

That socialized healthcare jab X)

Inverse Skies

As an Australian who doesn’t mind watching cricket, thank you for mangling this dear sport of ours. That was great. If you do another one, may I suggest Australian rules football? I promise you won’t regret it.

Jason Ferro

I have absolutely no idea what is happening in this video but I'm glad that we're all along for the ride

Matthew Tait

"Oh my goodness... I don't think you're supposed to do that on network television" was priceless. For the non-cricketers out there, she was shining the ball on one side. In cricket you keep the same call for a long time, you don't use a new one every 'pitch'. Shining it on one side (yes, you're allowed to use saliva, gross I know) helps the ball swing in the air.
